Daddy's Laundry

Daddy's Laundry is a beautiful treasure in our community. I started coming here when the machines in my building stopped working. I LOVE this laundromat! The washing machines and dryers are affordable and well priced. When you press the hot water option, the machine uses hot water!!! The dryers definitely dry your clothes all the way. They provide free detergent and fabric softener. You can pay with quarters or your debit/credit card. You don't have to wait for washing machines or dryers. The laundromat is always clean. The vending machines are well stocked with brand name products and snacks. Mohamed is kind, observant, and does a great job looking after the laundromat and carwash across the walkway. This is my new laundry spot.

The place looks clean, but don’t let that fool you. I was traveling and needed a wash and fold service. There was no “front”, and the lady I talked to couldn’t speak English. After some struggle at translation, she weighed my laundry, showed me the cost, but then walked me out to a car wash nextdoor so I could pay a manager in Zelle! He quoted me $5 higher, only accept Apple Cash, cash app, or Zelle. I zelled to a different name and he insisted I left his name in the note. I stomached the shady encounter since I wanted to move on. I mean, what could go wrong with my laundry? Obviously I couldn’t be more wrong. The laundry came back in two big bags, so whatever was folded was unfolded and mashed together. There was no scent like they didn’t use detergent or fabric softener at all, and some terrible dark “water” stains on my clothes or rather bleaching not to mentioned it wasn’t steamed or ironed. Obviously, it was some shady side hustle between this guy and the lady instead of a legit service from the establishment, but they could at least do better. The establishment should look into this under the table business.

I absolutely love coming to this laundromat. Always clean. Washing and drying is fast and efficient. The worker Helen is so friendly and nice and helpful. I would recommend this laundromat to anyone. I go every week with my sister and mom. And we are always able to get washing machines and dryers. I have no complaints.

This is a very clean place they have everything even free laundry detergent, and fabric softener Mohamed was so helpful and this was my 1st time here will be back they also own the car wash next to it very detail service ❤️

This was my first time here and I gotta say This laundry mat was very clean and the dryers are very hot. My clothes came out extra clean I used the 135 lbs washer and it really saved me some time. Also my 5yr old got pink polish on the nice marble tables 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ thankfully Mohammed was understanding and cleaned it up for me. I will be back

This place is Heaven sent! Very clean and affordable. What I love most about Daddy’s Laundry is how practical and convenient everything is. You’re able to change and select the languages on the machines if you’re not fluent in English. The machines also offer “tap pay,” and you also have the option to pay with a debit or credit card, making it convenient for those who do not carry cash. There’s also vending machines that offer a variety of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.). Daddy’s Laundry even offers detergents and softeners for free. The owners and attendants are extremely attentive and friendly. Last but not least, the place is exceptionally clean and affordable. I highly recommend that you check this place out!

I was in desperate need of finding an alternative laundramat than Suds Factory ( aka Ramova Laundromat at 3546 South Halsted) because the Suds Factory/ Ramova refuses to properly adjust heating temperature for their customers and that place continues to "pilfer" from their customers' wallets.....😏. Well MOVE OVER Ramova- in comes Daddy's Laundry!!! This laundramat is a God Send to the community!!! It is located at 4335 South Wells street right at 43rd & Wentworth. This laundramat is crispy clean, it welcomes machines of all different sizes from a small load to loads that will accommodate over 60 pounds. The best feature to the machines are their ability to accept a debit/credit card or quarters- how cool is that?!!! 😁...Very nice to truly think about your patrons! There are also vending machines to not only buy laundry detergent, bleach, fabric softener or laundry bags, but there are vending machines to purchase snacks that definitely won't hurt your pockets with bottled water for $1 and chips for .50¢ . To me that's fantastic. Not let's get to the dryers- the dryers accept quarters and not only do they dry WELL , unlike competitors in the area, but the dryer cycles with turn clockwise and then in the middle of the cycle will turn counterclockwise!!!! Simply AMAZING! What this sytle of drying does using this mechanism to dry is ENSURE your clothing receives the proper distribution of heat to efficiently DRY your clothes! To think this far into ensuring SATISFIED patrons with retention is genius and much appreciated!!! Bravo Daddy's Laundry, BRAVO 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿! While washing your cloths, if you are in need of vehicle maintenance, check out their car wash facility directly across the street from their laundramat! My first time in the laundry && My washer didn’t have any water in my clothes. I ask for the attendant help and she told me I had to pay again to change the settings.why should I pay AGAIN cause their Machine didn’t produce enough water. I will never be back. Plzzz save your money !!

Good clean machines, great prices but the dry isn’t free but dries very well. Mohammed assisted me again! Thank you Mohammed! There are 2 nice clean bathrooms!
