Typical laundromat! Although I don’t know if it was a glitch but my clothes kept jumping up time in the washer. It was a 30 min wash turned 50 bc it wouldn’t stop 😭 kept coming to check and there’d be an extra 5 mins! Big machines and one of the cheapest in the area. My clothes were dry in about 30 mins too which is rare! Plus I cannot resist a trip to Wok and Roll and the donut shop next door
So I was in a jam, my normal place I go to was closing early so I had to go here. I didn't give it a 1 star, because I guess I'm thankful it was 24 hours. Upon arrival I discover that there was no staff on and I needed to break a $20 to use the change machine. Not THAT big a deal, went to the donut shop next door and broke it. Came back and went to throw a $10 into the quarter machine to discover it said "Temporarily out of service" on 1 of the machines, and the other wouldn't even take my money and it was also broken. At this point I'd already separated and loaded 2 of the LARGEST machines there so I had to use my card. Not the end of the world, but now my annoyance level is creeping up. Now, this is pure speculation. I BELIEVE the owners of the Chinese restaurant next door may also own this laundromat. The reason I think that is because there were 5 children ages 3-11/12 LITERALLY screaming and running around the store. It was 8:30pm and I was the only other adult in the whole building. Along with these 5 kids. Playing freeze tag in a small store. Running around me, bumping me, saying excuse me...as in asking me to move out of the way...Then they start flipping the light switch on and off repeatedly and screaming bloody murder. Now my level of annoyance is going thru the roof. After waiting 40 minutes for the washers to finish at $9.50 a pop I finally get to the dryers. Only 6 of the dryers in house take card, the rest quarters for some reason and low and behold all were occupied by clothing of people not there in the building. I wasn't going to pull someone's clothes. So now, I have to HOPE the donut shop has quarters for me. Of the 10 dryers that take quarters, 4 were out of order including 1 that had NO DOOR. These dryers were so tiny. It took me 5 dryers to fit my clothing from 2 washers. A quarter only got me 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, I had to add more time for towels and hoodies because they were still damp. Again, as I'm loading the dryers I literally have children at my feet hiding under tables and STANDING on tables next to me. Also a junkie came in looking around being super creepy. Again, I was the only adult. If not, there would have been 5 children in there alone with this CREEP. Who knows what he was doing, it wasn't laundry. The kids are 100% the children of Wok & Roll next door and they didn't give a rats ass that they're kids were running CRAZY next door. I got there at 8pm. I didn't leave until 11:15. I will NEVER step foot in there again, and I advise you do the same. Kills me to write a review like this about a small business, but it was just so damn bad that I'd rather wear dirty clothes for a day next time instead of going here.....
This laundromat could be a good place for New Bedford specially for being 24 hours, but you have a lot of junkies coming in out of the bathroom getting high. The place is not clean and the washer and dryers have card only machines and then they have coin machines ,now nobody likes to use coins .Now we gotta go to the ATM to get cash to get the coins. It’s too much work. Everybody has switched over to cards. They need to definitely upgrade. “as I’m replying to the owner “.No I was there last night. You do have to go to the ATM. If you do not have cash I only had card all your machines do not use cards your four dollar machines and some of your six dollar machines do not have the upgrade of the card and some of your dryers as well and if your place gets cleaned daily, it sure wasnt clean last night. not only that one of your machines took my money and I called to get my money back and nobody answered I don’t care if you lock the doors or not lock the doors .. Not my Monkey, Not my Circus..Not the environment that I wanna be in while I’m washing clothes but you have a great wonderful day
*Open 24hrs* *Clean Washers* Most of the dryers have gum or something gross in them that will wreck clothes so it's a bit frustrating when trying to find a dryer here. They have nice folding tables and laundry carts that roll. I'd definitely say this place is five stars if they're dryers weren't so disgusting.
A little pricey and timers are only 5 min for dryers. The small washer was 4 dollars. The place was clean, and machines were somewhat new. Don't think there was a bathroom, but I didn't need one to find out. Normally, there isn't. I washed two loads and dried them both for twenty dollars. That's really high. 5 dollars more than usual anywhere else.
Very dirty but some of the people that I have been talking to there r r really kool
I wash my clothes twice a week, a good place to wash, they are open 24 hours but I am worried because we spend more than 2 hours washing and you can't even go to the bathroom because they leave the door locked.
Excellent store. Very clean and well stocked. Wide variety of merchandise. Excellent wine selection and prices. Great packaged food section. Courteous and efficient checkouy.h
I've been going there for many years however I had to stop goin because they now lock the bathroom and other businesses won't allow you to use their bathroom
Very kind honest management
