The Washboard Laundromat

I am waiting on a part to come in to repair my washing machine at home so I had to go to a laundromat to catch up on laundry. This place does not accept quarters. You have to get a wash card and put a $10 minimum when you load it. I didn’t know how much I would end up spending but I had 1 large load and 2 small loads to wash. I loaded the card with $20 and it cost every bit of that to wash those clothes. For the dryers it is $.25 per minute to use the dryers and you have to pay for a minimum of 7 minutes at a time. So when I went to dry my clothes I had to add another $10 to my card. It took almost every bit of that to get my clothes dry. So $30 total spent on laundry. I have no idea what the going rate is for laundry anymore but I was shocked that it cost that much. I was also not happy that I had to spend a minimum amount to reload the card instead of just paying for what I actually needed. Now all that being said, the place is very nice. It’s clean. It has everything you need to get the job done. The machines worked perfectly. So yes you could argue that all these things are worth paying a little more for.

The Washboard in Murray was a fantastic experience! I have tried to find a place to get my machine washable 9X12 area rug cleaned for a couple weeks now, and I finally got it done here. Kaili was more than helpful, and she was fantastic to work with! I will be revisiting!

Nice clean laundromat! My washer is waiting on a part, so I had to catch up on the families laundry. The manager was helpful in getting the washers going. The place was clean!

I needed a laundry mat to wash clothes that my work is donating to a local womens shelter in Dover. And I found the Washboard through Google. I came in with 6 boxes and a tote full of clothes. The woman working today was very helpful explaining how everything worked. When I mentioned what we were doing she called the owner and they offered to pay for half of our washing and drying, even though they did not need to. I can not say how touched this made me feel. Thank you so much on behalf of my company and the women we are donating the clothing to Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And my you be beyond blessed!

My fiancee want to wash and dry laundry yesterday the place was clean and young lady on firday was very friendly

There should be a contract number to call when there isn't anyone here the washer stopped in the middle of last spin cycle and I couldn't get it to restart had some kind of program error ! And there isn't an emergency number to contact and there was no way to get it to work except restart and pay more money
