Handy Wash Laundromat

What a great laundry, great parking not too far from the highway and have everything that you needed very impressed all machines clean and in working order

5.3.24 @ 1:30pm - One of cleanest and most convenient laundromat I've been to. Everything was spotless and worked perfect! The signs were professional and easy to understand. This is how all laundromats should look. I'm not sure how new this place is, but I'm impressed.

I come here often at all different times of the day and I think it's nice! The lady that cleans is also very nice! I used to go to the one by thorntons gas station but the dryers there are not good, this place has some good ones! I will keep coming here!

I've only had to utilize a couple laundry mats in my time. My dryer went out a couple weeks ago and I found myself at this gem on the corner of Madison and Poplar streets. Extremely clean and convenient. Even on a Sunday afternoon there were plenty of machines available, no wait, and very secure. Stocked vending machines and a clean bathroom.

Very clean, nice friendly people there. The prices were Not bad at all to wash and dry our clothes. I liked that the dryers were not so scorching hot, just hot enough to thoroughly dry my clothes. Highly recommend this laundromat!

All the machines are ALWAYS clean and in good repair. The place itself is kept white glove clean too, and the coin machines have never failed me either. We drive 30 minutes to get there because this is the best place to do laundry I've seen in a while. I'm looking forward to having my W/D hook up at home working but if you have to use a Laundromat.. goodness this is the one. I should mention the bathroom is always clean too. OH and they have lots of machines.. Lots of them. we use 12 at a time on our every other week laundry run and theres still plenty for everyone else (the driers can be a bottleneck but not much of one)

Always washers available, coin machines always work, machines always clean. I've seen the woman working at night often and she is helpful and diligent. When I went today they were working on their landscaping adding flowers on the corner, nice to see pride taken in a company.

Not as clean as I would like, but passable and far better than Superior Street! The machines are rather old, but they function adequately. Prices are decent. Keep in mind that there isn't an attendant and typically without an attendant laundromats tend to be less clean and any issues you have can't be addressed in a timely manner.

Edit: The laundromat responded a full 2 years after I left the review stating that I slipped through some cracks. Don't worry about me; I've never been back and don't plan on doing so in the future. I have tried calling this place numerous times to get the money back that their machines ate. I've been told that a maintenance person would meet me to give me my money back and that never happened. My mistake, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept using the facility. Since then, I've had the vending machine take my money, a washer, and now the $5 washer took my money. No one is answering my calls or my fiance's calls. We are weekly customers, and we will gladly spend time and money elsewhere. This building and it's owners are less than professional and will not rectify any situations. They take your money and run with the impression that they will correct it and that never happens. Beware

I appreciate that they are open 24 hours !!!! It really helps a single working momma out ! All machines except one dryer are in working order and everything is clean!

Working in the area and have tried laundry mats in several of the small towns between here and coal city. This place is the cleanest. The machines look new and it's never very busy on the weekend.

Place was great, clean and everything worked! I've been in a few places where there are multiple washers or dryers that are out of order. This was one of the best laundromats I've been in.

Different priced machines to wash your clothes. The place is clean inside and kept up.Only thing I wish they had, was more seating if there busy you have to wait to sit.Prices are not to out of line with other laundermats.All in all good experience.

Always clean. Only been in twice in almost 1 year where only 1 washer has been down. Good choices in beverage and snack machines!

If I could give this laundromat zero stars, I would. Mt clothes have currently been stuck in a washer for almost 2 hours. There is no contact information anywhere inside or outside to get ahold of anyone. So if you'd like to leave WITH your clothes, don't come here.

The largest machine hold 3 loads of clothes which helps get the laundry done quicker. They now offer pay at the machine options,too.
