Family owned, they do quick work. Dropped off a thrifted pea coat, they got the smell out and back to me within a day. Price was fantastic! My new dry cleaner :)

Do not take your wedding dress here. The shop told us they could clean the dress no problem but when I picked it up and brought it home, it made my wife cry. There is still a line of dirt along the bottom and in her vail there was still wine stains all over it. Not only did they do a bad job at cleaning the dress but they claimed that they have been doing this for years and it came out perfect. Very disappointed in trusting them with this task, and they were nothing but defensive after I asked him if there’s anything else they can do. Usually very reliable for my formal shirts and pants, but not going back after the customer service I was given.

Highly recommended. Fair pricing. Fast speed. Eco-friendly cleaner. This is a local family-owned business and they do the cleaning on-site. Have been using them for almost a year. No complaints.

BEST local cleaners!!! Family-owned, multi-generational small business. They're all SO nice and efficient, usually our clothes are ready before expected and to top it off, the wonderful grandson already has our items hung up waiting for us by the time we walk through the door, that's how good he is at remembering all his customers' faces and names. They're all so hard working and really strive to keep you happy. Especially in this Florida heat. You definitely want to support this lovely family!

Highly recommend! My son was in a bind and needed his suit cleaned and pressed for his prom the next day. They did a fantastic job and I was able to pick up his suit the same day. I will definitely be using them in the future.

20+ years military, 10+ years suit and tie DoD contractor...I've experienced a few Dry Cleaners in my time. Totally impressed with the service received from these guys. Extremely courteous and professional. Sports Jacket and two pair of slacks dropped off at 0830 and picked up same day. I will definitely be utilizing Ninth Ave Dry Cleaners moving forward.

Beware bringing expensive items here. I brought in over a dozen items for dry cleaning before my wedding, and many were damaged due to poor handling. The damaged items were new and unworn, and I just wanted them serviced and fresh prior to wedding week. Some of the damage: 1 raw silk skirt had its seams stretched and torn (it was a gift from my mom), 1 silk chiffon designer dress got holes throughout (it was my engagement dress), 1 cotton linen skirt also had its seams stretched, my husband’s tuxedo, etc. Before having them serviced, I asked the front desk to confirm they can handle these fabrics because they are expensive and sentimental. They confirmed they could. Upon noticing the damage, I immediately brought back the items to ask what could be done. I was calm and not argumentative. The front desk was defensive, did not apologize, and blamed the fabrics instead of their poor handling. I questioned their logic because they blamed the “frail raw silk” so how come the sturdy cotton linen skirt was also damaged? Heavy items should be laid flat and not hung with pins. Putting weight on fabric hanging from two pins will pull and damage the seams - physics. I told them “mistakes happen, it is important how you address them and take accountability.” I do not appreciate businesses shifting the blame to their customers. I would have remained a customer if their response has been different. I came recommended by family, but we will take our business elsewhere. To your reply: please stop continuing to blame your customers for your mistakes if your are taking the time to reply. We were not satisfied, still disappointed; and as my husband said, we are only now leaving a review since our wedding and other travel are over. Everything we stated thus far is true and accurate. Best dry cleaner in the area. Service is friendly and quick. Been going to them for years. Never a single issue with dress shirts or pants. Starch level always on point. Won't go anywhere else.

Awesome Good Location Professional Knowledgeable Friendly And Super Fast

After going to this place for over two years and receiving consistent 5-star customer service and garment care I feel I must leave a review and point more people to this amazing dry cleaner. This is a family run, independently-owned, dry cleaner that is one of the only places in St Pete that actually does their cleaning in-house. Meaning, they do not ship your clothes out to a laundry mill. Instead they provide a high level of care and attention to your clothes you won't get anywhere else. I have a handful of very expensive designer pieces that I entrusted to them and was not disappointed. Six months ago I moved to the other side of town and started using a different cleaner. Big mistake. 1.) There was a terrible chemical-smell the lingered on the clothes for days and 2.) My clothes came back with burn marks and random stains and discolorations. I had them re-cleaned and was horrified that there were even more stains than the first round. I took the items with stains back to Ninth Ave and they were able to remove them. There are no toxic odors on my clothes at Ninth Ave. And their eco-friendly method is kind to my sensitive skin. It is well worth the drive for me knowing that this place actually cares. Not to mention everyone is friendly and easy going. Ninth Ave for life!
