Decent laundromat. Not the friendliest folks here but the machines are huge. Based on my in unit apartment costs, the cost is about on par and they're much bigger. As of May 2024, the small / mid-sized washers run around 19-25 quarters ($4.75 - $6.25) and bigger washers are 32 quarters (8 dollars). Edit: Dryers run 5 minutes per quarter. Note: When I asked about the pricing, the manager said that the prices weren't posted and they're just on the machines. I wanted to highlight latest prices in case it helped anyone. Additional Note: the machines run on quarters only (no apps and no credit cards here). If you want change, you may want to get a water bottle or something to get cash back using your debit card in the stop and shop in the shopping center. Detergent: It looks like you have to bring your own detergent and products (it doesn't look like they offer or provide anything unless you get the wash/dry/fold/dry-cleaning) Discounts: At the time of this writing, military and Salve students get 10% for wash/fold/dry cleaning.

Very convenient location, plenty of parking and hours are great. We stopped in to wash all comforters and machines are superb for that! Finish the job super fast. The attendant, a young lady, was very helpful and attentive. Reason for the four stars is because the place can use a floor deep cleaning.

The washing machines are super small and they are almost $5 per load. The dryers don’t work well at all. It *COSTS A LOT*, and I left with *DAMP CLOTHES*. I mentioned it to the lady working, and she *DIDN’T CARE* at all. They probably are aware of that and love that people keep putting quarters in. I will *NEVER* go there again.

I have been using Micki's services for about a year. The staff is unbelievably helpful, welcoming, and kind. They are always there to help. I chiefly use the wash-dry-fold service but have had the always efficient pick up and delivery. Very reasonably priced and expert service. The best in town and a great location.

I use the drop off service & it's 1st rate. Counter people are helpful & polite. Prices are reasonable based on location. You're in downtown Newport people, it's more expensive than your usual place back home. What matters to me is it's clean & laundry looks great when I get it back. Newport is a humid place, towels, sheets, etc. get smelly quick. You have to stay on top of it.

These people not only don't know what they're doing, but their customer service is terrible too, unfortunately, I didn't follow the advice of a co-worker who these people lost his clothes. I've been using this service since I arrived in Newport 2 months ago, until they stained my chef's jackets and they ignored the responsibility, they applied a chemical to the ink stain as you can see in the photo and they ruined the other two jackets and now they want to ignore it and they are laying saying that they applied anything to the stain but the picture they send me shows different. With this review I hope others don't go through this.

Good for wash dry fold, absolute rip off when it comes to dry cleaning or washing any bedding. Charged me 20.00 per blanket for twin sized fleece blankets, 12.95 for dry cleaning very small pillow cases. Got a bill for just under 1000.00 for about 50 lbs of laundry. Will not be going back.

Right place with supermarket next door. We also needed cash why pay a fee when you can get some while shopping for groceries. If your going to Newport for the day bring your laundry. All machines were working and free parking on top.

At a time when we needed it most, Micki's Laundromat has been wonderful, efficient, and so very pleasant to work with. I cannot say enough how terrific this service is. Mary is so cheery whenever I call.
