Colfax Laundromat

The place is clean, especially machines, you can tell that they’re either newer or well taken care of. The biggest plus is that I can use the DexterPay app and pay right from my phone. App is super simple to use and keeps track of the time left on a machine for you. So I was able to drop my load in and go grab coffee while still tracking exactly how much time was left. Great place and will definitely be my go to whenever in town!

Not the cleanest. Doesn’t change bills into coins that can be used outside of laundromat

Going there and doing my laundry is a win win situation. Using the dexter app is super convenient. You just download the dexter app, enter your bank card, enter machine number then either hot, warm or cold. All you do is hit the start button on the machine. The app keeps track of the time. Super convenient. Then if you’re hungry/thirsty, Mar-Val is a really nice store. The deli there is AMAZING. I’ve been there two times because that’s how many times I’ve done my laundry and the two ladies that helped me were super nice. I just called the owner of the laundry mat because I noticed a $25 charge(even though it was still processing in my account) when it should have been $18. He told me that it’s just what they put on hold and then the actual amount will be taken out.the owner was really nice. Needless to say, that’s my new “go to” laundry mat. Highly recommend!

The upkeep is outstanding. Atleast 90% of the time the machines are clean and in good working order. Love the app for payment.

Always clean and fair priced. The new Dexter app allows you to pay with your phone so no more feeding 12 bucks in quarters in the big machines..

Clean, well maintained and app as well as coin pay. Worth the drive to escape the riff raff that plagues it's GV or Auburn counterparts. I love the app pay feature and text alerts when your cycle is complete.

The cost to wash and dry went up. 2/3 or more of the washers and driers are very new. The owner responds in a timely manner, Over all, a good laundromat

Expensive 5 dollars to wash the smallest 3 loads ever than another 4 dollars to wash again because 5 dollars wash didn't knock the dust off and that just one small grocery basket ( the kind without wheels) of clothes .plus the cost of dryer witch I did not record or remember but it was any better than the wash .

Just switched owners and immediately has become unfriendly. I have lived in Colfax for about a year and have done my laundry here regularly. Today, I was waiting in the car for my friends to finish shopping at the Sierra market and had to use the bathroom. The new management made me feel extremely uncomfortable and told me to use the bathroom at taco bell in the future. No problem, I wont use the bathroom here ever again, or come here to do my laundry ever again either. You just lost a customer due to being unfriendly and rude in a small town.

I was just there. The owner was there, was very nice and was cleaning , fixing machines, replacing machines and remodeling. I gave him 5 stars for doing all this, while also holding down his full time job and running back snd forth cleaning up messes other people leave.

Very nice laundry-mat, modern and very clean. Not the cheapest but upgraded so you pay for what you get! Renting now so definitely plan on using this facility in the future! 👍 …

I doubt I will be going back to the one in Colfax, not only were they gross, but it was icing on the cake after I found someone's heroin stash stuck to the inside corner of the dryer AFTER my clothes were done.. …

Dryers are now reduced to 3 minutes for 25c and they have turned down the heat as well. I will be going to Grass Valley from now on. RIP OFF..

Convenient to have up here but not always the cleanest. Is nice they upgraded machines though

Clean and easy to use. The coin dispenser in the front is a little temperamental but the one in the back works perfect.

Well this place is the only place in Colfax to do your laundry but when I get new machines replaced it’ll be a lot better but they’re honest clean it when you lose money though send it to you I highly recommend this place I hope they got new machines in since the last time I visited them

It was clean,but needs chairs/benches to sit down. There is only room for two people on a bench outside of the laundry mat.
