Place was clean, could be cleaner, allot of ventilation. I went in the morning so maybe that's why its not hot like everyone claims? Anyways I would definitely use again safe environment for late night early morning washing.
It’s a decent place. Yes it looks like a place that is used a lot. All of the machines I saw were operational. It did the job. I would use it again.
Watch out. They advertise their wash and fold service at .99 a pound but the guy weighed and calculated mine around 1.80 or something like that. It was hard to see his exact number. To me that is dishonest. Also I had thrown in a new pack of white t-shirts to be washed and shrunk to normal size and as I was re-folding them (they do a terrible job at folding) I noticed that they’re all slightly stained with what looks to be grease(?!) They do not fold professionally, in fact my socks and underwear were not folded at all. Very sloppy for the $40.00 I paid. All in all, this place is a dump. Will not return.
I accidentally left my food (dinner) on top of the washing machine without even being touched and the person in charge threw it in the trash. First you look for who the food belongs to and if no one responds then you throw it away. So many people without food and the others throw it away.
I was able to wash after moving my clothes twice bc of broken machines. Well lit lot and building but very dirty. Floors, and machine exteriors look disgusting but your not washing outside so keep going right? Yeah that's what I thought until two of the larger machines barely had enough water to wet my clothes and I didn't stuff the machines. The smaller machine worked fine. This place is hit or miss and I don't have time. But if you're patient and not worried about residue this will work.
I cannot speak for other machines; my dryer at home never dries all the way, thought I'd try the dryers here. I barely had time to eat lunch before my clothes were dry! Not crowded on a Sunday. Cool inside and nice folding tables.
Loved that they offer free soap on specific days of the week. Unfortunately, too many dryers are "out of order". The attendant was consistently cleaning but it may be time for a deep and thorough cleaning and repair.
Its clean, there is a coin dispenser.the machines use little watte and even less hot water. There is a restroom with toillet paper but no hand soap for many weeks. They have new washing machines accepting credit cards , but the dryers rip your clothes because they are dented inside. Other than that its great !
Place is dirty. Floors are crumbling. Machines need maintenance and don’t have clear instructions. The layout is in an awkward circular shape. On top of all that the price for washing is expensive in comparison to other cleaner laundry mats. But LOVED the marble tables for folding clothes.
I live in DC in a building with a horrible laundry room, dirty, smelly and poorly lit. At 12 midnight I could not sleep and I thought why not do laundry, but where? The Forest 24 Hour Laundromat is wonderful. They have a well lit parking lot. The laundry is bright and clean. There are tons of different sized washers reg, 20 lb, 30 lb 40 lb etc There are also plenty of dryers and an attendant to keep the place tidy. There is a change machine for the necessary quarters and an ATM machine too. There is also a machine with the little packs of laundry detergent and clean restrooms. What more could you ask for.
I have been going here for over more than 5 years and this place has just started to go downhill in the last six months , all of a sudden the top load machines put only a small amount of water less than half and so many machines are broke …
Rip off. You’re supposed to get 7 minutes for every .25 cents. We put two quarters in and got 12 minutes. Put a third quarter in and it gave us 4 minutes. Totaling to …
Nice facility. Be careful because a number of machines do not work, but many do. Just don't want to load a machine before you check. Plenty of size options.
What are you gonna do? I mean it’s the only one near me and I need to use it so you put up with it. On occasions the card reader doesn’t work you use their ATM, which has a $4 transition fee which is terrible. But again, what are you going to do, once there you’re trapped.
It’s convenient but many of the washers don’t work properly and coins always get stuck in the dryer. The staff will always help you but it gets old having to hunt them down to help you.
Good and cheap and open 24 hours. Only bad thing is you’ll more than likely see a roach or two, which is concerning. …
Love the fact that it has machines of all sizes, it's open twenty-four seven, and the guy who runs it will even give you detergent if u run out. That person is also continuously cleaning the place.
Looking for an attendant to help with my machine since it took my money .. have a sign in the “office” window that’s says call this number for help ! What type of service is this! Don’t come here
Charge $7.25 per load, not including the dryer. Cheaper to wash them anywhere else
Place needs Better washers and dryers, Is a mess. Not enough water to wash clothes, person in charge not doing a good job, machines are not clean half of them are not working.
