Tri-Mart Express Washateria

Went with sister while in town to help with a lot of bedding she had to do from guests staying at her house. Lots of broken dirty machines that need maintenance. My sister lost $5 in one of their their machines and not anyone on site to assist and get a refund. No telephone number listed anywhere in the event of and issue. Do not recommend.

Came in 3/2/24 around 10 AM. It was about 67 degrees and cloudy outside so the apparent “no AC” as other reviews mention wasn’t so bad because it was cool outside. • Large commercial washer is $6.25 per load • Medium washers are: $5.50 per load (normal, delicates & brights) $5.75 per load (power wash) • Small washer - none • Dry machines $2.50 for 34 min (heavy duty setting) Pros: - the machines that I used worked - relatively clean compared to other washaterias - not as packed with people, meaning there were plenty machines to use - restroom somewhat clean - change machine available - looks like it’s under renovation Cons: - some washer machines leaked water onto the floors - one machine made so much noise while spinning because some bolts were loose - could be cleaner but doesn’t look like anyone works there, unless they’re next door at the gas station Overall, it did what I needed to do. Could be cleaner, but you get what you pay for.

Just passing through town before going to my next destination for work. I don’t like going to laundromats as there are usually old run-down machines in a hot facility without AC. And the neighborhoods do not feel safe to be around. Tri-Mart Washateria is the first laundromat that is super clean and modern that I’ve been to. The place is nicely cooled with AC. Everything looks new. Based on previous reviews, this place had undergone a full remodel. Plenty of machines and not crowded for a weekend. Coin machine available or you can pay by phone. I saw a worker going around wiping down the machines. There are big screen TVs above each row of washing machines. Clean restrooms available. Plenty of seatings available. Nice, clean, and safe area. You get what you pay for so be prepared to pay slightly more than the older laundromats. It’s worth the money for cleaner clothes and peace of mind.

They raised the wash prices 2$ and the dry 1$. Seems sus right after Hurricane Beryl hit. I was here maybe a month ago and prices were what they have been for a long time. And, one of the washers took my money so I had to search for the owner. He was nice and helped me out, but would be nice if whomever worked there was actually in there. The floors are filthy and the restroom is gross.

The first washer I tried wouldn't take any quarters, so I had to move my stuff after I had added soap. So that was bummer, but the next washer did great.

The place is clean and comfortable. But the person in charge of the place is an uneducated man. He kicked me out of the place because I yelled at him not to touch my clothes with his dirty hands.
