I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 11 years. This place was decent and affordable back then. Today was the LAST time for me. Used a super loader ($6.50). Opened the door at the end of the load and a wave of water poured out onto my shoes and flooded the isle. There are no laundry carts left because the homeless steal them all. I had to move the sodden heavy laundry bit by bit to another super loader and spend another $6.50 so I could get them properly spun. A number of machines never work. Half the dryers won’t stay shut and keep popping open. They’ve had to go to only cashless machines because people keep trying to break into the machines. This whole endeavour was exhausting and too long out of my day. Because this took so long, I REALLY had to use the toilet. There’s no bathroom anymore for customers so keep that in mind. I don’t want to have to drive across the river to use a laundry but I am OVER this nonsense! Photos: post cycle pool of water in the washer and my dryer door popping open.
We are in town for a few days and had to do laundry. This laundromat was recommended to us. We didn't have any coins, but with the app downloaded on site, both washing and drying worked very well. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
Barely passable as a laundromat. Requires either quarters or an app. Change machine was shutdown, so bring your own quarters. The app charges a service fee for an amount that you would need for one load. Really slimy behavior from whoever came up with it.
Do not come here. Half of the machines have had a Do not use label on them for a year, underneath says "will be repaired soon". The prices on the machines don't match the Payrange app so if you don't have cash to put in extra quarters, you've just paid up to $6.25 and if you don't have that last quarter you're screwed. There's no one physically here if the machine takes your money and doesn't work, you've just lost your money and have to take your clothes back out. Some machines will pretend like the door isn't closed, you've already paid, put your clothes in and the detergent and it will pretend the doors not closed, even though it's latched, and just won't start. There's also no sink at all, got detergent on your hand?, too bad. There's also no customer bathroom. This is not a business and needs serious maintenance.
ALL BIG WASHERS OUT OF ORDER - MOST, LONG TERM 6 out of 6 big load washers out of order 4 out of 14 triple load washers out order Most of the broken washers have remained out of order since I started coming here 8 months ago. Most of the dryers are good This place is circling the drain. Aside from all their big washers broken, the place is run down, cold, and has sketchy people everywhere.
Dirty floors, wash machines smell of mold, dryers half in working order.. My experience today: Washer took my $6.50 filled up and drained.. no motor action. Took almost an hour to get support.. proceeded to dry my clothes.. after spending $1.25 finally found a dryer that works.. hahaha.. SPENT .25 =6 minutes, X 5 set on high my towels were damp and smelled like mold.... owner should be embarrassed.. yuck!! Conclusion: I went back to spin to redo all my laundry.. NEVER WILL I EVER RETURN!! SPIN IS AMAZING!!
Nice place with affordable machines. It’s been pretty clean every time I’ve been. My only issue is that the dryers aren’t as good as the other laundromat I go to, and need to run a bit longer to fully dry things. Still a good laundromat!
They switched to an app. Every time I try to do my laundry they just steal my money through the app. Emailing and calling does nothing. Coin laundromats are fine. Nobody wants to install an app to do everything, especially an app that just robs you with no way of getting a refund. The people who run this place are criminals imo.
Raised prices recently so it's now 4$ for a hot wash load as the minimum. Half the machines are out of service at any given time, look out for puddles of water outside the machines. No cards, they take quarters or a weird kinda sketchy app. No quarter dispenser. No customer service.
First time coming here. I live out of state, here in Portland for work. Unfortunately the hotel I'm staying at doesn't have a laundry room. So I looked up this location and decided to try. Unfortunately I lost money immediately on the first washing machine. Took my money but it won't work. Only after deducting my money from the app, the machine magically is "out of range" in the list of available machines. It's counting down but it's not working. Of course it's Sunday and apparently there's no employee here on the weekends. Great. The only way to get my money back is to fill out a slip with the machine number, amount lost and problem. You're supposed to provide your address for them to mail you a refund!!! Really?! Like they are actually going to mail me a check for $6.50 to Florida?! So I had to pay twice just to wash one load. I won't be coming back here and I will make sure to tell my co-workers not to use this place. They also don't seem to think it necessary to turn on the heat. It was freezing the entire time I was there. Couldn't leave that place any faster.
It is shocking that a laundromat in Portland Oregon wouldn’t be wheelchair accessible. Unacceptable, period. A bathroom would also be nice. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Waste of a trip. I know it's self serv so just remember no one is working here. No place to exchange dollars for quarters . But there is a bank down the street. Bring your laundry detergent . Can't buy and here either felt Desolate . Not …
I provide the cleaning service for both mats. When I clean the machines they look like the photo I've posted. Most of the regulars clean up after themselves. But every now and then there are those who don't care how their lack of …
Dirty, smelly, out of order machines. Paid for 24 min but only got 16. Clearly owner doesn’t care.
I have been coming to this laundrymat since September 2024. Each time, a dryer has not worked. I use the Pay Range app to pay. The app is more charges more to dry ($1) and quotes more than than it actually dries. I'm going to find another place to wash a dry my clothes even if its farther away.
Have come in almost on every Saturday or Sunday morning and the place is a mess! On more than one occasion, there is at least one homeless person hanging out with their stuff strewn about and stinking up the place. At least the machines …
Dirtiest laundromat ever. Smells like mildew and must when u walk it and the seals on the door have all sorts of black mold and brown juice that leaks into your laundry while washing! It is beyond disturbing and I would not recommend.
My washer broke & I was scrambling to do laundry. Clean-O-Rama in NW delivered! I highly suggest you download the app for payment: less fuss and it gives you updates on how long is left in the wash/dryer cycle. It was clean, I had a place to park my car and wifi allowed me to get some work done while waiting.
I'm doing laundry here now. The app works and so do the machines. My only gripes are that it's winter and right at freezing and they have no heater on. Also it's kind of dirty. Listen I get it. You don't want the homeless to sleep in here and use it as a warming shelter, I get it.
I did a review that seems to have disappeared where I discussed how this how abandoned this place is. I have Problem solving. had loads of laundry get stuck in the machine with no one to help get them out. The only people you can talk to …
