Englewood Coin Laundry

After trying the Rotunda laundromat, we walked into this one first before dragging all our laundry in. I had seen it was 4+ stars. HOW? The place is filthy! The machines looked disgusting. I would expect my laundry to come out of the machines dirtier than when it went in. After 2 fails at using the internet to find a place, I asked my daughter which laundromat she used before getting her machines, she said she used a place on Tamiami Trail in North Port. Yes, definitely worth the trip!! This place in Englewood should be closed down. There was one other in Englewood, didn't get out of the truck after seeing the windows had safety screens on them. I thought Englewood was one of the better towns here, guess I thought wrong.

It's dirty and half the machines don't work. It's a "back room" of a smoke shop. If you want a bong, you can get it there!!! I won't go back. A 4 star??? Not even close.

Awful! Half of the 10 dryers were broken. Cramped. Very small no windows. A store is attached. Smoke shop/lottery. A single Employee running around both areas washing clothes selling tickets Find another place

Moved to Englewood 15 years ago. Tried all of the available wash/dry/fold places. None did a really good job and were very expensive. A friend recommended Englewood Coin Laundry. Tried it and I ‘m still taking my clothes there. Friendly staff with just the touch for washing and folding expertly. Reasonable prices. No pink whites. I don’t have to wait forever for my clothes. Facility is clean and well kept. I ‘m sure glad my friend recommended Englewood Coin Laundry.

This is the only place I get my ecigs from because they have the best prices and best selection. If you're going to your local gas station you're paying too much. For people that smoke (I'm a former smoker) they have the best cigarette deals in town. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the girl behind the counter is great. If I go on a trip, I make sure to stock up because everyone else is price gouging. Love that they can keep affordable prices and don't try to rip people off.

Update: still bad experience but owner was super sweet and returned my money. Very nice young woman. Horrible experience. Machine would not stop washing my mattress pad and bedspread. Supposed to be 22 minutes an hour later. No emergency shut offs for machines., so wearing the heck out of my bedspread. Half the machines and out of order and apparently so are the ones "in order". My advice is find another laundrymat.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They deserve 5 stars.

I love how this laundromat is a hop, skip, and a jump from my place. Somehow I always manage to go when no one else is around so no long wait for me. The water is fixed so it no longer smells funny and the prices are cheap. $1.50 for washing machines and the dryers give 6 minutes for each quarter put into the machine. The owners are so friendly too

There is really nothing fancy about this place at all. It looks old, the Washing & Drying equipment is older; however they work. However adjacent to the Laundry Matt & inside the same business is a small Tobacco Shop. You can purchase drinks, snacks, Lotto, cigarettes, Vapes, pipes, bongs, etc.,. To make things even better the prices for the pipes, bongs, etc., are very low & the business proprietor is very friendly.

What I like the most about going to this laundromat is that the people that work here and that own this place are very nice and friendly. I also like that this place is close to where I live and that I can come there in my wheelchair and not have to worry about getting into an accident trying to get there and that their prices are pretty reasonable. I would recommend that people go to this laundromat if they want to know some very nice people and if they want some reasonable prices.
