Polk City Laundromat

Really nice little place. They have 2 nice front load washer perfect for washing huge plushy king size comforters like mine. The top load washers were real quick(most finish in like 30 minutes) it's very clean and quite. There were a couple other people there but everyone respectfully kept space. I'll definitely be using this laundry mat from now on. Very peaceful.

It's a great place if it's not busy. Machines were clean and all worked. But I had lots to wash and I used all there machines. Ran out of money from the change machine. But if you only have a couple of loads it's a great place.

Every time i come here there’s always someone blocking the entrance to the parking lot because they are lazy and i have to go around and drive through the exit to park in the provided parking spaces

This place is a place to go when you have no where else to go… it’s clean… that’s the only good things about it. The machines are not up to date, it takes double the time and almost triple the money to dry things no matter the size of the load. It’s a hit or miss if the dryers work even work. It shouldn’t take 4 dollars to dry one load… there’s always an issue when I come here. Very nice people that own it but this place sucks! I DO NOT RECOMMEND the laundry mat.

A very clean and comfortable laundry. Plenty of washers and dryers and all in good order. Good seating for you while you wait and there are always magazines for you to read to while away the time The owners will provide change for the machines and also detergents, if needed. Ample parking for customers.

Machines always work, dryers are good, and the owner is very nice. After months of only using this laundry mat i felt obliged to leave a positive review for the great quality service I've recieved Other than the occasional karen trying to scam someone or throwing a fit because they don't how to work a washing machine or wanting freebies, this is the best place to do your laundry if you don't like the ones in lakeland.

Very clean and first time. The owner or who ever the man was looking at what I put to wash. Which I was hiding my undies because I felt very uncomfortable. I had not even pushed my clothes down a bit…He walks over looks in the washer and tells me that the limit in clothes. I f he wants to limit your clothing he should put up a sign or mark in the washer. As I take out my clothes to leave because of course not only did I feel uncomfortable your looking at my intimate clothing but you decide to tell me a limit in the washer. Which I took three loads but with the level of clothing he wanted for me to use. I would have to use like 6 washing machine. I was gathering my clothes to leave when he just started laughing at me. Then when my husband walks back to ask him was he laughing at me he chickens out. Leaving he takes a picture of me which I waved and a picture of our vehicle. He mumbles profanity and I gave him the finger. Worse experience ever in a laundry mat. one star but they don’t deserve not even one star.

Really great place. Had to ask for directions, but once I found it is perfect. They had soap and dryer sheets, which I forgot my sheets, so that helped. Change machine worked. Nice experience.

Absolutely my favorite laundry mat. The only one I will use. Never crowded and stuffy, machines always work great.
