This place is one of the worst places to do laundry. It's cleanish. They do not keep more that $10 available to staff working. They do not take card. They raise the rates with no signage. So I put in money see raised rates and can't get a refund and the card costs money. Guess what after that $20 is spent I will not return hope it was worth it you need it worse than me apparently. Also old machines some have rust in them washers and dryers.
If your business requires a laundry card to use the machines then you should accept credit cards to load those cards. This laundromat does have an ATM (One of those private ones with a high fee) to get cash which you can then load on your card. It looks clean and no machines were out of order but because of the payment situation I am heading down the street. (I asked the attendant about the issue and just got a shrug and directed towards the ATM so I went right past it out the door.)
To Tyler Dodd, I was there that day sir. I remember this situation. Your small dog had a bowel movement on the floor which is not service dog behavior. You got aggressive when asked for your dog to be removed. After saying it was illegal to kick out a service dog, the attendant then asked what kind of service dog it was. You were unable to answer. The attendant stated you must not have service papers and walked into her office looking like she was removing herself from the situation as you continued to yell and cuss. I was coming on here to leave a positive comment because that same attendee helped me this morning as I have broken my arm and was struggling. I saw your review and remembered that day. You should be ashamed of yourself.
☆☆☆☆ UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION – FEDERAL VIOLATION I was just asked to leave this establishment solely because of my service animal, Callie. Not only was I illegally asked to present documentation for my service animal—which is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—but the staff also proceeded to remove me from the premises without cause. This is not only unethical and discriminatory, it is a federal offense. Under federal law, service animals are not required to wear identification nor do handlers have to carry or present “papers.” Businesses are legally only allowed to ask two questions: 1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? That’s it. Anything beyond that is illegal. My service animal was temporarily untethered in order to perform specific medically necessary tasks for me—which is explicitly permitted under ADA guidelines. Her presence and actions were completely lawful. The staff’s ignorance of federal law and their discriminatory behavior is appalling. This business has now opened itself to legal liability, and I am already in the process of reporting this ADA violation to the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. A potential federal lawsuit is pending, and damages will be sought. The young lady that was extremely aggressive with dreads and gold chains put this company in a position of huge liability today my legal team is already on top of it as well as the Ada is informed. To anyone with a disability: BE WARNED—this business does not respect federal law, civil rights, or the basic dignity of disabled individuals. I will not be silent.
Please do not come to this laundry mat location & just go somewhere else!! Staff is overworked and closes whatever time they feel is convenient for them despite what time their hours say online, which isn’t even good or fair for a business or their listing, could be reported to the bbb just for that! But just came from out of town, so wouldn’t have know that they operate a little janky but , First and last time here for sure & throwing out a heads up for others! & seems like they’ve gotten worse here lately and plus they charge extra fees to wash for their cards anyway. Just go some place else if you want professional, ease and fair! For real & that’s real 💯
No A/C if there is it's not much. Other than that it's alright. Update! Nothing has changed the floors are filthy, no A/C, machines and don't work you can't read and water on the floor this could be a great place. Could. The people who own this place obviously are making money by the amount of people who use this place. But machines have been offline for weeks, I guess they don't want to reinvest in their business enough to fix their equipment. Is it greed or laziness ?
The dryers I paid for didn't wash my clothes at all and I had told the lady very nicely if she could start up a different one so that they can dry but she started being very rude and mouthy I honestly do not recommend just because of the employee.
This place is AWFUL!! The employee left and now there's three of us here trying to wash or dry clothes and the dang card isn't working. Why is there a card to begin with? That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Money. Coins. Those don't fail when an employee leaves but these stupid cards? MENACES. I may only be 33 but I know a failed system when I see one. I want my MONEY back.
If you don't have a washer and dryer at the house this is a good alternate. Attendant on duty keeps the place clean. The beast time to go is on Wednesday when all machines are half off. Avoid after work and on the weekends late if you want to get a dryer. Clean bathrooms, plenty of seating and things for the kids. WiFi is spotty but not a deal breaker.
This laundry mat is suppose to be open at 7 am in the morning most days. Every time I have come here it has been closed and not opened until almost 8. I checked the hours on the door and it says 7am to 12am, yet they never seem to be open on time. Other than that the prices are high for the area.
