Have been coming here for years. Today many washers were dirty, laundry was laying on counters and the floors, empty trash bags on washers and best of all zero hand towels in the women’s bathroom. This place is in desperate need of some cleaning bathrooms washers floor included.
My how the mighty have fallen. I wouldn't even bother if it wasn't out of necessity. Check your balance and keep track of what your using and spending, I've been over charged, and have been charged for a broken machine. The place is filthy and lint traps are dangerously full. Use with caution!
Edit 7/11/24- I don't think I've ever seen such a quick decline in a business. It's bad everyone. Minimum of 2.50 to dry? And the place is an absolute mess. Find a better option. I've been using this spot for a few months so I haven't seen the changes other reviews say. I do think the place could be updated or a simple snack machine added. I'm quite surprised machines still use quarters, I thought machines were all card based now. More machines work than are broken and I've never had to wait for a machine.
Probably the cleanest and quietest laundromat I’ve ever been to. Tucked along a nonchalant side road across the street from a kids ballpark and a convenience store. Mound Legion is a few steps away for those who’d like a beverage while they wait. Sunny afternoon window is a plus for you book-readers. They have the HUGE machines everybody needs for those special jobs. And quite a few of them so usually there’s no waiting. They’re all relatively new machines, or in great working order. There’s also an informative clerk on hand who can advise of washer size, average cost, and can take your laundry in- they have a drop off service. (See pics of desk area). Washer I used was huge and cost $7.75. I had king size comforter and the monster dryer I used cost me around $2.50. So for around $10 I got my job done! Soap selection machine gives diff options of soap brands at $1 a box. Change machine never empty & takes a 1, 5, or 10, dollar bill- and I’m pretty sure 20’s too. Store is neat and tidy and clean as a whistle. People were seen with and without masks, but were social-distancing. Home in about an hour and I live a few blocks away. Highly Recommended ✔️
Thank you for upgrading the card readers! So much easier and authorized in seconds didn’t have to swipe twice - just a tap! Much appreciated.
I’ve been here before and had a good experience. Today 40 LB washer wouldn’t take cc and I slid it first. A note taped to office says swipe only. Wouldn’t above or on machine be the best place to tape a note regarding credit cards? Crazy! One of the machines also took one of my quarters so $15.25 to wash 2 small ikea comforters. Only staffed M/W/Fr 8-12. Otherwise clean. No one here on a Friday afternoon. Change machine seems to be working. Dryers seem to be working.
Doing our laundry was a great experience for my husband. The laundry attendant was very helpful in showing him how to operate the machines. The building was clean and the laundry machines did a great job in cleaning our large bulky rugs. We are very thankful for the help that was given and we will return soon again.
I have used this facility for years. It was sold and the new owners have reduced the appeal. Recently, they added credit card payment devices to the machines. In doing so, they put a minimum charge to the dryers. Dryers that I used to pay $1.50 and add .25 for 4 more minutes is now its $2.50 for 33 minutes. And that's the cheapest dryers. I don't need that much time. Also, they turn off the a/c. Many elderly used this facility. It's sad to see them endure the heat. Your sorting and folding clean clothes trying not to drip sweat on them. Past owners always fixed the equipment right away. I see units out of service for months. It was a nice laundromat.
Terrible experience. Many machines broken or not using enough water. Two years ago I had two hand made blankets taken while washing laundry. Employee just said we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. I was there while washing, except for brief runs to car which was just out of view. If you go, don't leave anything unattended
Been going here for years. Dryers have gotten a little expensive but everything has gone up in price these days. Always clean and never had an issue with clothes getting ruined in washer or dryer like I have at other places in the past.
