Front loading $6 machines aren't good at all, they barely clean anything. A $3 top load speed queen does a way better job. The driers are decent though, but you can't see how much time you have until you put in quarters, and you can't add more quarters, it will go to the other machine. I pulled two Morty's from the sticker machine, so it's primed for a Rick. The Canada Dry button on the vending machine dispenses A&W root beer.
Half the machines are either broken or filthy. The top intakes where you put detergent? Caked with powdered detergent people have just left behind so good luck. The bathroom is filthy. And when you call for help, because there's no attendant actually here, it's excuses about how you can't control people. The machines eat quarters. And half the ones with credit card slots don't work. Go elsewhere if you can
Had a large machine not cycle any water during the wash cycle and only some water during the rinse, but other units clearly were washing better, I showed attendant who gave refund but I recall this same machine almost a year ago doing it as well? (Attendant said she would let someone know). No air conditioning going when the temperatures were in the 90's but it was at least a clean place and a convenient location.
Went here and had a good experience. It's under new ownership, that much I can tell. Lots more machines with the credit card readers too, which is nice. It's great that it's next to Toms as well due to how I often forget to bring things like the pods lol. Also if I want a snack I can go get something from there too. Or go across the street to get Subway and 7/11 drinks. Overall a great place to go not only for laundry but other places while waiting for your laundry to get done.
Buyer beware - this laundry will eat up all of your money and hurt your clothes. Only a third of the machines work in this place. The phone numbers to get help or to ask somebody questions are fake. I was here with people in in one hour six customers lost money and one had clothing damaged. Evidently the machines have not been cleaned because her clothes were covered with green paint. The dryers that are not working our number 22 a numberless big dryer and number 30. There were washing machines that didn’t work unless you put your credit card in and there’s no instructions for that we just found out. If you’re using the quarters only machines buyer beware for sure they might work or they might not work and there’s no way to get your money back. Don’t use washing machine number 13 for sure. Evidently if you want to talk to the owners of this laundromat you have to go over to speak to an attendant at the other laundromat on Garfield.
Usually an excellent place to do laundry however, my last 2 visits were a complete disappointment. NONE of the machines accepted cards. NOT a problem, I visited Eastfield Laundry instead & all machines functioned properly.
Most the machines are down. Had a machine take my money, then when I contacted the owner, they failed to call me back. They used to have a lot of pro flags, but now only the Canadian flag is not covered in dust. They never have soap in the bathroom, and their drop off is a closet you place it in with a note telling them who you are. Sadly this was a good place at one time, now it is degradated. The machines are not working right, with even the ones that work still not spinning out right, or washing properly. 25lbs of laundry is not three loads. The large driers don't heat up right, and the small ones dry hot. Sadly as they are one of the two laundromat owners in town, the alternative is not good either. But I would still suggest not using them till they fix the place up.
Def check the washer before you wash, not only was everything dirty, but most of the washers had soo much dog hair.
I had two machines not taking my money, also one broke down. The dryers take forever to dry and lots of quarters. I used the huge dryers. When I let the person on site know that I lost 12 quarters and than eight. He said I was a liar. I started crying, and he put quarters in the machine that had taken my money. I will never come back. Dirty. No stars.
One of the Machines didn't wash my stuff properly but when I called the owner was more then willing to make it right. He also stated he was in process of getting new machines and seemed grateful about me being understanding.... maybe others should try the same..... I'm sure you don't become a millionaire from a laundromat 😁 …
