This company is determined to make everything as simple as possible from 24 hour drop off to drive through to pick ups at your home. You can even text them when you are on the way to expedite the process (I did this but it didn’t actually work for me). I took in a really dirty comforter—they didn’t get all the stains out but I gave them five stars because I should have had it washed sooner. For $36 they washed it and returned it looking much better and even in a mattress bag. I willl be back…. Must faster than last time 😬🙂
Love the ladies that work at this location. They’re always kind. They follow customers request well. My husband’s shirt had too much starch the 1st time. Next visit I asked for light starch and it’s been perfect since. They’re really good at getting stains out as well. The pricing is fair. And the turnaround is pretty good. If you need it sooner than they offer, just communicate that.
People please read all these bad reviews before taking your clothing to this company! I wish I would have read the reviews first. This was my 2nd time returning my clothing to Jim Massey Cleaners. The initial first time and a redo service. All garments came back with a very pungent odor and the same stains, and under arms were not cleaned. The 2nd time … same way. I first spoke with the Sturbridge manager, Cynthia about the issue and then spoke to Ashley, the District Manager …. I was told I could redo the clothes free of charge. So, I decided to bring them back hoping for better results. Ashley agreed would be ok. I got to the location and the clerk was unaware I was coming or had a clothing issue. No one informed her …I returned them on Wednesday near closing of business and received them back this Friday. I received a text earlier that the garments were ready for pickup but when I got to location, all of garments were not back … some remain not returned. I was told to check back after 4:00 pm that’s when the truck usually comes in. No courtesy call that the other garments were now back, I had to call to confirm. I picked them up all together as the clerk suggested. However, I was Disappointed again to find that my garments still have the same horrific smell, stains, under arms not cleaned and this time they were lightly damped. I sent an email to Jim Massey company and the district manager. . Never heard anything from owner of Jim Massey … I had to reach out to him today again, then recd a call back. And District Manager never returned my call or replied back to the email she received. 3 weeks ago this issue begin and owner never made contact until today 3 weeks later, after I called again… I had called multiple times to reach him and corporate staff and was ignored. When I finally spoke with him he was rude and unprofessional! He clearly is not into customer satisfaction or cleaning clothes as advertised . Please people … Take your clothes to a cleaner that cares and values you as a customer!
Ms. Cynthia does an amazing job! She personally knows me and the care needed for my clothing. She is always very personable and professional. She’s one of the major reasons I continue to frequent Jim Massey’s. Finally, they are quick and do a fantastic job of taking care of my clothing. I love Jim Massey’s!
I have been using Jim Massey at Sturbridge for 26+ years. Ms Cynthia has been my friend all those years, not just the one who takes care of our clothes! She has watched my boys grow up and gives our family the best service. Ms Althea has been a great asset there, too! They both greet me with a smile and are happy to see me when I pull up! Grateful for their hard work and loyalty to Jim Massey and the people they serve!
Used them for the first time. Not very satisfied. Had a 50% off up to 10 items but only 8 items had 50% off. When I picked up my large 16 piece order was told by staff that had an attitude I was given the discounts on all my lowest priced items. I asked why my formal dress was charge 2 different fees and did not have 50% off. Oh it had beads. Oh and the second charge happened to be exactly 50% of the original charge. So it looks like I was charge to clean the dress and also charge 50% more instead of taking it off like it should have been. I have lived in 4 states and never paid 60.00 to get this dressed dry cleaned. $129 plus bill should have been way less and I should not have had to argue with the staff. Oh well guess I will try another cleaners next time. Update: I did read the reply and received the refund. Thank you very much for looking into this. This shows great customer service on your part. This has changed my opinion about your store and I will be back. I would ask could someone speak to the staff about the attitudes they display to customers. I am a manager myself and in situations like this I have a full staff meeting to not call anyone out and then if the actions persist then I sit down with the employee. Who knows they could have been having a bad day. Thank you again for you prompt attention and I will be back to use your stores services.

The Vaughn Road Store is an excellent cleaners. The staff is always friendly and the variety of service options they offer (pickup/drop-off, 24-hr drop-off) are the best I’ve experienced in over 25+ years! Firstly, I truly wish I had looked at all of these terrible reviews encore I even step foot here, but unfortunately I did not. I wish I could give zero stars. At drop off, I needed a newly purchased coat just steamed to get wrinkles out. Well, the elderly lady at the counter took my coat and started putting my phone number in. She looked at me and said ‘This your first time?’ and I says ‘yes ma’am’. She ROLLED her eyes and did a little scoff. I asked her if there was an issue with me bringing my coat and she told me ‘no, I just need to put you in the system…that’s why I did that’. So I graciously finished giving her my information and left. Well…TODAY, I went to pick up my coat, and the other elderly lady who was there (I later realized that this is the STORE MANAGER, Cynthia) literally yelled at me to move forward in the drive through so I did and she asked me if I was dropping off or picking up and I told her I was picking g up and handed her my ticket. She took my card and said ‘I will take your card too and I’ll let you know what your total is.’ Perfectly fine. Well, she mumbled something and I literally couldn’t hear her, so I asked her what the total was and she dramatically said ‘E-L-EVEN F-IF-TY EI-GHT’ like I was illiterate….so I kindly said ‘thank you!’ And then mumbles again if I wanted a receipt. Of course I didn’t hear her so I asked her if she could repeat that and once again she spelled out what she had just mumbled as if she expected me to understand her the first time…? So I took my receipt and left. RUDE is an understatement. DISRESPECTFUL is an understatement. Please do not go here. I wish I had just purchased another steamer. Worst experience in the state of Alabama so far. They don’t like their job. They don’t care about you. They expect you to put up with their poor attitudes. Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else.
I saw a some ads on Facebook a few months ago and finally decided to try them out! I'm so glad I did, and wish I'd found them sooner. I had 9 tops dry cleaned/ironed and they look fantastic! I also received an email with a coupon attached for my next visit as a welcome/thank you! Can't wait to get dirty again so I can go back!

Had a king comforter washed. After two weeks, I just went to pick it up. Never got a call. When I asked why, the staff was so short and unapologetic as they said the notices go out by email only. I was never asked for an email up front. …

Just dropped off my coat at this dry cleaners and the girl at the front desk is listening to something on fb/YouTube or whatever and it has a lot of profanity in it. I walk in and mind you in the only customer in there but she never turns …
I highly advise anyone to not patronize this establishment the women without a name tag had the worst customer service ever at the front desk. She could care less of my needs of service as if I was a bother to just walk in the establishment. I would never return unless it’s a complete overhaul off employees
Nearly every time I use this cleaners there's an issue, especially with pickup. Most cleaners are in before 7am out by 5pm, but here, you have to tell them 1 day pickup otherwise you wait 3 days. Do not reccomend if you need your items in a timely manner.
Hope they don't lose your item, cause it's your problem, not theirs. Otherwise they are fine.
