Academy Laundry

I have been going there for about 10 years now but within the past three years it’s gotten so much worse. The staff has always been great and continues to be but less than half of the washers and dryers work so if you want to spend all day doing your laundry that’s fine. But for people that don’t you have to get there right when they open so you’re not stuck there for additional hours.

I have been using this laundry mat for the past year and haven’t had a bad experience until this past week. I dropped off my clothes for the wash fold and dry service early in the morning. I was told I would receive a call once ready for pick up. I waited all day and no call. I did try to call them, with no answer around 5pm. So knowing they close @10pm I made sure to arrive 2 hours before @8pm (once I left work). Upon arrival the doors were locked and all lights were off. No call or even a note posted about closing early. I left for vacation the next morning and had to buy new clothes for since mine were locked away here. I waited to write this review until after speaking with them. I went back once returned from vacation to get my clothes (by the way, 4 days later and still no call that they were done). I kindly explained to the women at the front what had happened and that I never received a call and was confused as to why they weren’t open during their posted hours. She gave me a dirty look and continued to ignore me. Not even a sorry that happened or anything- but was happy to take my money. So very disappointed by how unprofessional the staff is there. I understand these things happen but the least they could’ve done is say I’m sorry. Being given the silent treatment along with dirty looks for expressing an issue I had with your company is horrible customer service and very rude. Anyways, I’m sad to say that over a year of using their service I’ll be taking my business to somewhere that respects their customers and follows through on their promises. If you’re looking for a cheap place to get wash fold and dry done this is your place. Sad to go and wish the staff could’ve made this right.

My family and I just started using their services when we moved to a place without laundry hook ups and have not had anything but great experiences weekly for months now! Ashley is wonderful, we usually see her, but it seems no matter who is working, our clothes are done quickly and even our toddlers little clothes are all folded very well!

They do a great job! Everything comes out clean. I use wash/fold service for my business and they customize folding for my needs. This is one of the few that does laundry in house. Other places you drop them off and a service comes in so it takes longer. I dont operate like that, lol! I want my laundry back that day. Remember to tip- they work hard

Absolutely Incredible! Jessica saw that I was having a hard time carrying in my laundry & helped me bring it in & get it started. When I came to pick it up she brought it out & put it in my car before I even went in! So blessed, there are still incredibly wonderful people in this world. Thanks also to Josylin!

This place is great! Every time I've brought my laundry here, they've had it ready for me in a few hours. It's also affordable. Really love this place!

Well because it's laundry it's never fun. The staff is always friendly And it's very convenient. We like to play very much.
