Beckley Self Service Laundry

Came home to WV from California for a death in the family & needed to wash clothes before heading back to Cali. I couldn’t get the machine to work properly , was acting like I never put money in it but I called the number that was there if help was needed & she fixed the issue over the phone! Great customer service & such friendly people there. Thank you! This is the very reason I miss being home so much! Haha.

Very clean! Stopped to do a few loads during traveling. Quite and price was great and the machines and there is dillat general nextdoor for detergent.

Updated review: this place obviously has new ownership or something because it has drastically gone downhill over the course of the past year. More machines are out of service, the place isn’t as clean, and the prices have gone up considerably. I don’t mind price increases if ownership is putting in the effort but it seems like they’re just collecting the money and bailing. And for goodness sake, please fix your automatic unlocking door because it doesn’t unlock when it’s supposed to, despite the sign saying you’re ‘working on it.’ Sad because this place used to be the best around. Now it’s mediocre at best. Original review: This is the nicest laundromat I’ve ever been to even though the prices are a little more expensive than others in the area. The trade off, however, is that the place is always clean and everything is fully operational. (Unlike Family Coin Laundry down the road.) I was honestly a little surprised this place is as nice as it is, but I would recommend this laundromat over any others around. Great place!

Very friendly staff. You can also wash and dry huge loads of laundry! This will save you money!

I am so blessed to have an angel customer watch over me while doing my laundry. Men with no laundry frequent the facility. Unsafe at 7am, I'm afraid to see how it is later in the day.

I always have an issue with this laundry mat. Either the dryer doesn't dry all the way or the washer goes out. Today I have unwashed and soaking wet clothes due to a washer error. Well since they no longer refund for their washers going out I am just SOL because I don't have another $7.50 for another load. I'm just going to a different laundry mat. However if I had my own washer and dryer I would not have to go through this 😔...so in the meantime I'll just switch places.. It's not like Beckley has a lot of choices as is.

The Beckley Self Service Laundry is a great place to get lots of laundry done in very little time. The place is spotless thanks to Miss Kim, the attendant on duty. Most of the machines accept credit and debit cards, which makes it simple and you get to avoid pumping quarters in. Some of the dryers only accept quarters but there's a change machine so it's no big deal. They also offer drop off service for those that want to avoid doing laundry or simply don't have the time. I will be using this laundromat for all my laundry needs from here on out. Thanks, Kim, for giving me all the tips and info on the machines. It made my trip to the Laundromat so much more enjoyable!

Liked the clean atmosphere as well the washers and dryers.

It is a lot nicer looking than the other laundromat here in town it is a little bit more to use the machines but as far as cleanliness it is nice. They do have a lot of the machines out of order that they need to get fixed but I will be coming back to this one again.
