Very clean, all machines work, most give you choice of credit or cash. Small load $3.50, medium $5.00, large $8.00 plus some other specialty super large load machines. Dryers are either $2 small or $2.50 large for 30-32 min. Plenty of carts and folding tables, scattered booths for seating. Above average experience for a laundromat.
It would have been a Nice laundromat BUT I filled out the card and deposited correctly in rhe slot as directed when I lost $5 in one machine nearly 2 months ago. I have called, left message and sent two emails and I have yet to gwt a response much less my $5 refunded. It's about the principle now....your card said I would get my money back. I expect you to honor your word. We were traveling in our RV thru the state for just a week. This left a bad taste in my mouth.
Lots of working washers and dryers. Coin or credit card. Clean facilities with Wi-Fi and a bathroom. Plenty of places to sit and plenty of carts to move your laundry from washer to dryer. Good location, lots of parking.
Clean, updated machines that take cards or coins. Lots of security cameras and well lit. Open 24 hours is great!
There are far worse laundromats. And it's a bit better than going down to the river. But in typical laundromat fashion, no one cares about it as long as the money tree keeps dropping leaves. If you keep your expectations low you won't be disappointed. I updated my review to add the pic of the jank duplex receptacle. But I'll add some positive accolades too. It seems that ALL the machines have the card or coin option now. I've noticed cleanliness and machine repair has improved. additional, additional (red dwarf lol) Lots of new machines, more seating, and usb charging ports! Also drying times have been improved.
I have been going to this laundromat for a while and it was great until they changed from coins to card. There are still a couple of machines that take coins but most of them take card without the option of coins. Its frustrating because the cards will just not load money onto the card but still take the money. I have heard others complain about it happening to them and it happened to me a couple of times. It seems like a very flawed system.
I didn't make use of the wifi, restrooms, vending machines, or washing machines, but the dryers were very clean and efficient. What normally takes 5 cycles and close to 3 hours for my dryer at home, I was able to completely dry my bedding and bath towels in 30 minutes on high for $3.50. ($1.75 across two dryers). The only downside is limited comfortable seating while you wait. (I opted to sit and wait in my car.) Edit: The credit card payment was a little confusing since I couldn't find where to insert or swipe my card. (It's directly below the selection screen and easy to miss for average height adults.)
Clean facility, clean machines. Did notice the change machine was out of service, which was frustrating those who were using cash. Otherwise very nice facility. ETA: came back tonight and things were still wonderful. Clean facility, clean bathrooms, machines functioned as they should. For a task that I don't enjoy doing, this place at least makes it as simple as it can be.
Great place to do your clothes. There’s some close stores nearby and a gas station 2 minutes (walking) way. You can sit at the tables while you wait. There is free wifi as well. Coins or load up a card for machines to run.
Okay Laundromania, you have my respect. Facilities are very clean 90% of the time. Functional charging ports available. Vending machines are stocked (and the products are up to date). But the best is when one of the machines went out of order - I wrote a slip but didn't anticipate a real refund... Well guess what arrived in the mail today. Very pleased.
Okay all you laundry grumpy folks. You get eight minutes for a quarter with the dryers! Let me repeat....8 minutes. That is 2 to 3 mins more per quarter than any other laundry place I have been...in the country! I dried my clothes for only …
While it seems like an older laundromat, it is clean and I felt safe here at night. My biggest complaint would be the card readers on the machines. While I was here, at least 8 of the 17 available washers did not have operational card …
I come here to use their huge washers. It is usually clean but today it looks like the floors haven't been swept or mopped in a while. Dryer sheets all over.
This laundromat is nicer cleaner and quieter than spin city has become in the last several months. Although it's slightly more expensive than Spin City in Coralville. I had a much pleasanter time than my last three Spin City encounters. I'd rather drive to North Liberty to enjoy the space.
This is a real surprise, Really nice cozy place to wash&dry. We have been there over night the first time, and during the day the 2nd time, very clean, all the equipment was working and also clean. …
Great place to do your laundry 24 hours a day. FREE WIFI. Could be just a tad bit cleaner, but machines are ALWAYS working and plenty of machines so you don't have to wait.
The change machine doesn't work, it would not take my card. It kept declining it yet there was way more then enough money in my account. I had put my clothes in the machines along with laundry soap only to have to remove everything and go some place that would actually allow me to do my laundry.
The industrial washers and dryers handled my horse blanket well and I couldn't be more pleased. The washer removed horse hair and caked on dirt when my home washer could not. All this was done without destroying the delicate fleece and trim the blanket was made of. Overall I am very happy and will probably return.
This place was very clean, has a nice atmosphere, and plenty of machines. We use the credit card payment option and really like it. There are TVs and Wifi while you use the facilities. We can do all our laundry in a very short time.
Coin or credit/debit, yes, but know that there is no change machine, so you will have to default to card. There will be a $20 pre authorization PER MACHINE.
