Canaan Laundromat

Update: New washers and dryers. Business hours are 7a.m -10p.m but last wash is at 8:15p.m. There is a bill changer and quarter dispenser located in building. Or you can download an app called Pay Range and add funds. The app was simple to use but any balance not used stays on the app to use at a later time. There is a vending machine where you can purchase laundry soap, bleach, laundry bags, and bounce sheets. There's carts to use. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of washers available. This is a small laundry mat and only had a couple of tables for folding. There is wifi and a waiting room with a TV. Manager/owner on site was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be back.

Best laundromat i have ever been at the new owners are very good people very nice and helpful and there prices are to die for ... I drive all the way from Port orchard to use it and I will till I get my own washer and dryer. It's the very best hands down....

I felt at home there. Lots of space and the kids area was clean and tidy! My first pick ALWAYS!

The owner of this establishment is so kind! Caring and friendly! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the location. It's right next to a hole in the wall bar, so there are sometimes intoxicated individuals that stumble over, but even with that, because of the owner and the price point, I always choose this place! They have an Arcade too! They have also added new machines that you can pay for using an app!

It's fine. Mostly clean, well lit, good location near a mini mart, bar/restaurant. Many washers are broken, but they're clearly labeled. Dryers are large and dry clothes quickly. The video games work.

This place is disgusting. Everything is dirty and it looks like someone might be living in the back corner? Either that or someone just recognized this place for the dump it is and dropped off their garbage.. The owner of this place literally sits by the coin exchange machine to make sure his customers are using the quarters for his machines. Who does that? His customer service skills are absolutely terrible. I wasn't at all surprised to see similar reviews saying the same. I didn't feel like I could touch anything while inside and felt the need to disinfect myself immediately after leaving. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

This is a nice clean Laundromat. All the machines work, including the change machines. There are large capacity washers and dryers. The only drawback for me is the two guys who sit around there all day. They say they work there, I am not a fan.

Dated interior, but quiet and clean. There is a dog on premises so if you're allergic, you may want to avoid. He is nice and doesn't bark though. Washers and dryers are nice and big.

People certainly have different opinions on what constitutes cleanliness. This is the dirtiest laundromat I've EVER used & I've used a lot of them throughout my 60+ years. Thankfully there are plenty of laundromats to choose from in Tacoma. To be fair, the insides of the machines were clean.
