I pulled up and parked went in my purse to get my quarters when a Hispanic lady comes along barely speaking English and ask if I'm washing my car because her boss says no one can park here. So I'm a bit thrown aback because there were people already there and I didn't see here approaching them. Also, I told her "ma'am I just parked" what is your problem? Right then I knew to immediately leave there because my presence wasn't welcomed there or should I say my kind and my race. Smh!!!! Really!!!! I'll spend my money some place I'm welcomed. I'm visiting Greenville and this was definitely a poor first impression. 👿 BLACK FOLK GO ELSEWHERE LIKE I HAVE!!!! 💰 🤑 **** I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Ridiculous!!!!****
I had a very disappointing experience at Jaguar Wash and Dry in Greenville, TX on May 29th at approximately 6:20 PM. I was there doing laundry with my daughter, who was using Washer #21 (a $7.50 machine). After getting the total down to $6.00, she inserted two quarters, but the machine wouldn’t register them. She came to get me for help. I attempted to insert a quarter myself, but it kept getting stuck. I had to press the return button several times, and one quarter was even kept by the machine despite my efforts. At this point, I respectfully asked a staff member—a Hispanic male, older, around maybe 5’5”, with short gray/dark hair combed to the side, wearing a blue shirt—for assistance. He tried inserting a quarter, which also got stuck until he hit the machine a few times and it finally registered. I calmly explained that we had already lost two quarters in the process, and I was trying to figure out what to do next. Instead of listening or offering support, he immediately became irritated, raised his voice, and told me to just give him the quarters and he’d do it himself. His tone and attitude were unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. Feeling uncomfortable, I told him I’d handle it myself but asked for the owner’s contact information. He refused to provide a name and said only that the owner might be in tomorrow around noon. I asked again for contact information and was ignored. I believe in treating other people’s property with respect, which is why I didn’t hit or damage the machine even when it malfunctioned. However, the staff should show the same respect to their customers. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated, simply for asking for help. I hope the owner sees this and takes steps to ensure that staff treat customers with professionalism and courtesy. Until then, I do not recommend this laundromat based on the poor customer service I received.
I got 10 dollars in quarters for a 9.50 machine after putting in the 10 it said I was short 1.25. The lady was rude and unhelpful. Last time I will come here. I was shorted by either the change machine or the washer. Totally bogus to treat your customers like this just because you wanna be a big shot.
Very clean place. Not trashy like others. Prices are reasonable. No issues with the equipment.
Best laundromat in Greenville, don't bother trying the other 2. The machines actually work, there's staff that'll help if you have a problem, and in 2 years of coming here I've never had my laundry stolen while I wasn't looking.
I suppose it gets the job done. I would suggest only bringing small loads of clothes. The big dryers are .25, not free even if you wash your clothes here. Smaller dryers are small and max amount of time is 9mins. You have to stand there and push another cycle 2 or 3 times. It's really nice and clean in here but loads are just a tad more expensive, so are the vending machine items. Honestly. Big coin laundry with the big yellow sign down the street is better.
I cam believe in here permit the employee to have there own radio very loud I can't hear my cellphone and I have a big headache. and very disrespectful man I never come here to waisted my time I was waiting for my clothes be done drying before leave iprefer come in here when the lady are here. I'm coming on here every 2 week for almost 8 years
Tried to upsell us into bigger machine than we needed. Prices too high. Found another place at half the price (6x $5.00). We did not need drying as item would drip dry. I appreciate owner response and have thus revised to 4 stars.
I prefer this laundromat over the other one. The location is further from home, but I still prefer it. The washers are kept clean and the AC works, though I prefer to stay in my car. It's not too crowded when I go, and there is enough room and light to actually fold my clothes. If you're worried about bed bugs — a risk anywhere — make sure you dry your clothes on high heat for a minimum of 30 minutes, and either fold your clothes on a surface or put them straight into a bag after to fold at home. The dryers running for 9 minutes at a time gets annoying, but it's not a huge problem in comparison to the alternative. This place looks more like the previous laundromats I've been to, so that factor builds trust, too, even though it's under a different name. I gave it 4/5 stars because the ceiling looks questionable, and there are some negatives, but it is overall a good laundromat. I don't get what people expect from a laundromat. If you want luxury, $2.75 laundry is not it. There are also some people who will part on the ramp area 😑 even when there are cones 😑 and I've had those same people take my clothes out of the washer I'd just put them in and had to leave to get $1 extra in quarters, just so they could put theirs in one if the bigger washers. "This one is mine," is what they'd said. One woman told me that clothes wash much better if you put the soap in after you start the load and the water starts running — 💯💯💯💯. Lastly, it's not their fault if you forget things in the washer/dryer, so be sure to look all up in there before you decide you're completely done with it. Your property is your responsibility. It's entirely different if the machine eats it or messes it up. You wouldn't blame a grocery store when you forget your phone there, so...
Plusses: small dryers are free Variety of washing sizes Clean for the most part. Small washers have a 37 minute wash time. Down side-- One down from the largest has a 24 minute wash time. Don't come from 10:00 to 4:00 PM due to crowds.
The laundromat is very clean and well kept. The washing machines are priced fairly and work well. There were a couple of down washers on the day we went but it wasn't a problem since there are a lot of machines there. The dryers are FREE …
The laundry mat is a good place to wash clothes!! But the daytime attendant she is rude and her attitude is little to be desired!! Her attitude will cause this place of business customers
My experience here was terrible. The dryers are advertised as free and are in fact not, and my phone got stolen here and when my boyfriend tried to talk to the lady who worked here, she would not help, and when he asked for her manager’s …
Update: They seem to be doing a better job at keeping it clean again. Have had more please t experiences with staff lately as well. Though we Had an issue today where a …
Good clean place to get ur clothes washed and dry.
Moved here in Jan. & had been using the apartment's poor excuse for a laundry. Since I had a huge amount to do, I picked Coin Laundry & it was fantastic. The amenities include: lots of washers/dryers, dryers are set for 9 minutes-when it …
Been in here over a year and the place is very clean. People are very friendly and nice
Always clean. They have a couple of washer you can use your credit card to pay. Convenient. Dryers are free and work great. Go during the week to avoid the crowds.
Great laundry. Machines usually always work. Usually clean and a variety of machine capacity for all needs. I would suggest employees clean lint traps more often.
Super nice laundromat; clean and the machines work well.
