Great laundromat!! We were on vacay and found it. Very clean and the card machine worked well. Love the music that was playing. I was recently at a similar facility in Texas and the prices were very similar.
Used this laundry because it was closest to the campground we were staying at. Nice clean facilities, not busy. But the music playing with no option to either turn it off or change it bothered me. I'm not into the whole christian thing and to have to listen to it, even as background noise was uncomfortable. So I knocked two stars from my review. Ymmv
My dryer at home wasn’t working so I stopped in to use one at Moore’s. It was very clean - someone was vacuuming at 7am on Saturday! 10/10 would recommend!
This is the cleanest nicest laundromat I've ever been in. I have at home laundry but use the oversized washers a few times a year for larger items and highly recommend it to anybody who needs to use a laundromat regularly. It's like being at home!!
While I was reviewing other reviews, the switching from coins is reasonable. Yet, I feel that this solution could have been credit cards/debt cards. Was very disappointed to have to go to a different washer & dryer for not supporting anything other than dollar bills!
There is a very nice lady that works in there. She does an excellent job of keeping it clean. Definitely recommend.
No coin operation, no ATM, no card reader on their machine. Only takes cash and prints you out a card for expensive machines. At least it's clean
Clean, helpful, clothes are always washed well. The only down side is the price. I come in weekly and can easy spend 17$ with wash and dry. Lovely place but $4 a load is steep in this economy.
***UPDATE*** AVOID! 7 years living in Manheim and this laundromat now monopolizes the town. The recent renovations are just an excuse to charge more to do your laundry. I'd say go somewhere else but chances are the owner SHAWN MOORE likely owns that laundromat too. He also owns a division of a bathroom remodeling company, a storage facility, and invests in real estate (that usually means rental properties) so the increase in prices are clearly necessary only to further line his pockets while claiming to "pay for renovations," which speaking of.... All the money spent on renovations yet we couldn't just buy machines that already accept the plastic in our pockets?? I now feel like I'm topping off at the arcade at Rocky Springs because you have to purchase a reloadable charge card from a kiosk that is CASH ONLY to use on the machines. (Yay wallet junk!) They might as well have left the quarter machines, however I speculate this method was chosen to make it more convenient for the owner and not the customers (it's a lot easier to roll around in cash than coins!) And last but not least, the prices. Nearly every single bad review on Google is about the prices (hint:hint??) But because we installed a fancy new payment system and finally replaced broken and never working units, customers now pay a minimum of $4 for the smallest laundry load I've ever seen, and a whopping $6.75 for a normal load. That is nearly $3 more than what a regular load was before renovations. If you have a lot of laundry or bigger items like bedding, you can expect to be using the higher capacity machines which START at $8. Prices on the dryers also went up another $0.25, while the time you get to dry your clothes went down. What used to be a weekly, less than $5 trip to the laundromat 5 years ago will now cost between $7.50 and $20 to be doing your laundry here (unless you use a $4 machine, but good luck getting half a wash basket of clothes in it). A high capacity wash machine, as the owners have so graciously pointed out in several reviews, uses less water...so your clothes take longer to wash...so the machine isn't using as much energy to wash your clothes...which means no water or electric bill to run that washer costs $7 PS--after spending $1.50 to dry clothes on high heat they're still wet. Also got asked for cash change because someone showed up thinking it'd be a coin or card laundromat (like most places), not a reloadable charge card. This place is joke This is the only laundromat in town as of a year ago. It's now twice as crowded at peek hours with a gamble on parking limited to 6 spaces and usually never any street parking because of the nearby houses I've been going here since moving to Manheim 6 years ago almost once a week and spent anywhere between $5-7 each time (prices also rose $0.50 sometime around the other laundromat in town closing) That's a good chunk of money, and that's only one person of the hundreds who use the facility weekly I shouldn't have to put tape over buttons that don't work. I shouldn't have to search high and low for missing clothes because for some reason the machine did whatever with them (usually socks). I shouldn't have to worry if the coin machines are stocked. I shouldn't have to worry if the machines are going to eat my coins. I shouldn't have to worry if the washer door doesn't lock and floods when the water pushes the door open or leaks around the seal and I have to spend more money to rewash my clothes People who said it was clean must have been in shortly after a cleaning because usually the floors are dirty, laundry carts are scattered about, and there's miscellaneous clothes and items sitting around on top of machines. For a place that plays Christian music all the time, they certainly aren't living up to any following of Jesus in how they're serving their community besides it being open to the public. But for people like myself who can't afford a washer and dryer or don't even have a hook up for machines at home, we're stuck having to battle the constant inefficiencies that is called Moore's
I’m giving a two because it’s not that the machines are gross, or unkept. These machines are very nice and clean and so is the laundromat itself. BUT no im not old but I was ALWAYS used to laundromats needing quarters for everything. I know it’s 2024 but keep the dang laundromats the same. I came in here with my pocket full of quarters ready to GOOO but mmm no. Not anymore. It’s all laundromat cards now!! cash only!! You will now come in to put your money into a machine to give you a laundromat card.. I’m not used to it yet— this is my first time stumbling on this with moores.. I just wasn’t expecting that when I walked in today. Clean environment but I dislike the new payment method
