Avenue Laundromat

Best drop-off laundry service in the Nutley area by far. I have tried just about every drop-off laundry service in the entire Nutley area and Avenue Laundromat is the best by far. They are consistently excellent with their cleaning of and care for clothes. Not only that but they are the best value as well. This is a family run business and the people running the laundromat are very kind and hard-working people. I couldn't be more pleased with the service they provide.

Our dryer decided to die at 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. I quickly googled the closest open laundromat and this came up. I jumped in the car and was at the front door before 6:30. The posted hours said they closed at 8 pm. The employee on shift looked at me with a basket full of laundry like they were about to turn me away. I quickly assured her I only needed to dry because my dryer wouldn’t start. She continued to turn me away claiming I couldn’t use the dryer if I didn’t first use the washer on site. This policy was not immediately visible, but because I didn’t make it past the front door, I can’t say for sure if it was posted further inside. Regardless, I was shocked to be turned away as a paying customer, and the only customer in there at the moment. I was left to get back in the car with my wet towels and continue down Franklin Ave. We are fairly new to Nutley, so this was my first and last time I will attempt to give them my business.

Wana (owner) is such a wonderful woman. She is so helpful and is always going out of her way to help everyone. She keeps the laundry very clean and if you drop your clothes off, I guarantee you will be very satisfied with the way she washes, folds your clothes. She does everything so professionally! A great place to wash or drop your clothes off for sure!

This place is great. I dropped off a ton of clothes, she had them all neatly done on time and folded neatly and put in bags. The price was very reasonable. The lady was so nice and friendly, I will definitely keep going back there.

The place was clean and spotless...temperature was 85 degrees out they had the doors open and there was a bee that acquired my attention. Doing laundry in this heat with No A/C & washing your cloths with No Hot water and spending $2.75 to dry one load of towels. I most definitely will not be going there again. $9.75. One bag of towel....NO GOOD

Juana is so kind,she will go out of her way to help you and she is loving caring person, the place is always clean and it’s open on time. She folds the clothes so perfect.i recommend this place. I give her more then 5 stars she’s the best

I got delivery service. All my whites were pink. I noticed this late cause I wasn’t expecting it and they were under the last batch. Then I didn’t have a car to bring it back. I finally came for a refund but the lady wouldn't believe me.

This is my first time at Avenue Laundromat (I used drop off/pick up) service. The service (and delivery) EXCELLENT! Laundry was returned beautifully folded. Highly recommend.!

Great place and wonderful owner Ernesto who is around to answer any questions and help. Very clean inside and appliances are well maintained.
