Super Washateria

Used #1 and #2 washers on 1/17/2025. # 1 washed fine. #2 (I actually started before #1) said it had 11 min more to go, then was giving a slow fill error then repeating 11 min to go and fill error. I brought it to the attention of young attendant. She said “yeah, #2, #3, and #5 do that. They wash and wash. “. I told her I’m in a time crunch, these washers need a sign! I asked, what can I do? She shrugged her shoulder saying she didn’t know. She left and I pushed the emergency stop, to switch to another washer. She came back and handed me a phone to talk to “Angie” with no last name ? “Angie” said I shouldn’t have pushed the stop button, and they weren’t going to pay for me to use another washer. There wasn’t anything they could do. I told “Angie” that they knew there was something wrong with the washers, but didn’t put a sign on it to warn the customer. She neither admitted or denied, even after I told her what the attendant said. She just repeated that I shouldn’t have stopped the washer. I asked what she would have done, she said “I don’t know, maybe stop the washer “ then repeated that I shouldn’t have stopped it. Ive been using this place for several years but no more. They lost a customer over $5.25. 👌 turn this around “Angie” it’s for you! And be respectful of your customers put a sign on your equipment that doesn’t work!

Washer ate my $5 and when when told about it they gave us $5 back and then the lady who gave it to us came up and asked for it back cause we “ Borrowed” it and that was not the case! Owner was called and cameras were pulled and they were in the wrong ! And come her once a week now I go somewhere else!

I have been going to this laundry mat since I moved to the area, after tonight NEVER AGAIN!! The old Asian man was absolutely rude and evidently not trying to keep customers. Let me say black customers because there were 5 other people in there and he was not following them around and one person had about 7 dryers going. I went in to wash my clothes about 810pm return around 835 to place them in the dryer. I had ONE load he tells me I took too long to come back and I told him you do not close until 10pm it will not take me that long to dry, he says he doesn't care what the sign says he will leave when the last customer is gone (so I guess he meant if the last customer is not me). There were others with clothes still in the wash I asked if he was going to say the same to them, he did not reply. I proceeded to place my clothes in the dryer and he says "you are not listening and I will shut these dryers off!". I told him he is rude and disrespectful how do you take someone's money for washing then not let them dry them within your business hours. I packed up my wet clothes and came to the new 24 hour Prime Washeteria and will continue to do business here. So be mindful if you go here they do not honor their business hours.

It definitely needs a good cleaning...I came in around 5pm and there were dryer sheets everywhere on the ground as well as random trash. However, I did like how they have a big variety of machine sizes based on how much you need to wash. I would come here more often if the place was cleaner.

Yesterday, Sunday, my dryer broke. We are a family of 6 so by Sunday we have a lot of laundry. I checked online to see what time they close and it said 10pm. I spent all afternoon and into the evening washing all our clothes. As soon as the last load finished washing, which was around 8:30, I loaded up 3 baskets and went to the washateria. I live outside of town, heading towards Angleton so this is the closest one to me (for now). When I got there, around 8:45, the open sign was off, but the sign on the window with the hours said they close at 10pm last wash at 8:30. I went inside to make sure I could dry my 3 loads of laundry. The lady I spoke with went to the office to ask the manager/owner man. Next thing I know he comes rushes out of the office and says VERY rudely “NO”! He told me no about 3-4 times as I stood there trying to figure out what was happening. I tried to tell him the hours say they close at 10 which gave me 1 hour still and he kept saying no louder and ruder. He then says last wash at 8:30, which I replied that I don’t need to wash I just need to dry 3 loads and he said again no. I’ve always used this washateria whenever I needed one over the last 10+ years. Never had a problem or issue until last night. The man was so rude and downright hateful! At least I asked, I could have just walked in and started drying my clothes! He needs to learn how to talk to and treat people!! Never going there again!

It does get a little hot in there sometimes but that is kind of expected at a laundromat when a lot of machines are running. They do have giant industrial fans blowing in there, though, which is nice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Best prices, best customer service and best selection in the area, in my opinion.

Great place to do laundry. I've been going since I was a kid. Has regular sized to 80lb load machines available on site as well as buggy baskets to help cart your laundry around. I think the lady there offers to do your laundry for you for a fee. I've just always enjoyed doing it myself so I've never tried her services.

Changing my review from 4 star to 1 star following the other bad reviews. I had an issue with my machine which didnt start after the last quarter. Went asking nicely to the asian guy. He proceeded to pretty much tell me I didnt know what I was doing and didnt even listen to my explanations. He would have told me one more thing, I would have cried right there. Im always respectful, and even more when I need help and he made me feel terrible for nothing. I know when I dont know stuff but dont make me feel like im stupid for no reason. Never go to that guy for help. He is rude as f. !
