My wife and I came to wash my comforter as we live in the community found laundromat to be very clean very bright Irma your manager of 5 years is truly an asset to your business and our community side note 21 years ago when this site was built and outfitted I was the manager for the original owners. Thank you for continuing a wonderful business in our community

Farly is a wonderful laundry attendent. He keeps the place clean and offers assistance when needed. I was using the large 8.50 washer and he told me the 3.25 would do for my load of clothes. I had been using the large washers needlessly and Farly saved me money! He keeps the floors mopped and the equipment wiped down. Don't hesitate to visit this location for a pleasant washing experience!

What a wonderful experience using the Wash House! I have not used a laundromat for quite a while and I had to wash a very large bedspread and decided to try this place. It was great! I was met at the door by the gentleman who works there (sorry I did not get his name). He very kindly showed me how to get the debit card to use with the washer and dryer and even very accurately guessed how much time I would need for the dryer. He showed me how to use the washer and dryer. He was VERY helpful. The place was very clean and has all different size washers to accommodate any size load. While I was there the attendant was very busy cleaning. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely go back again.

After reading several negative reviews I have to let others know of my experience. I have never seen people sleeping anywhere around or inside the laundry mat. There are homeless people there washing clothes but I have never felt threatened or scared by them. Many of them have interesting life stories that could have been anyone's story in the blink of an eye. I usually enjoy conversing with them and it makes the time go much faster. The cost of the washing machines range from $3.00 - $11.50 depending on the size machine your load requires. The dryers are $.75 for 17 minutes. The customer sets the temperature of the dryer so clothes don't get over dry or shrink due to too hot a temperature. During the day there is a kind and helpful man named Joe that is constantly cleaning and helping folks new to The Wash House. This place is clean, well run, and has ample washers and dryers to choose from. There are televisions to watch while you wait. Yes, on Tuesday nights is a dedicated night to take care of those less fortunate but the customers and staff from Edenton Street in no way "hog" the machines. There are plenty of machines and everyone gets to do their laundry.

Follow Up: I usually come to wash my oversized comforter and today, i came back after work and noticed as soon as the lady who works there left at 5.30p, a guy came in and pretended to clean while soliciting money. He wasn't aggressive by any means but i started to see a trend. Last time, same thing happened. A guy was walking around collecting lint off the floors and arranging the laundry carts. WiFi wasn't working today but didn't mind. Place was clean as usual. No bathroom access after the employee leaves

Nice, clean environment (mostly*), and the laundry debit card payment system eliminates the need for quarters. There has been an attendant every time I used their services. (*Mostly - Every Tuesday, starting early evening, a local church pays for laundry service of homeless persons as a part of their missionary outreach program. During this time, machine availability and other clientele may be less than desired.)

I've been using this location for over 15 years. The new debit card system and price increase on dryers was the last straw! The debit card machine is broken already or out of cards. Says to see an attendant and there isn't one there at …

I love the wash house. I've used both locations in Raleigh and they are nice and clean. The machines work like they are supposed to. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't wait to try the new location in Smithfield. Clayton needs a wash house!

Needs to get rid of the homeless problem. The hours have changed from 6AM-11PM because of them. The machines are great and decently priced. It’s really inconvenient that it’s no longer 24hrs. The restroom is always locked due to someone locking and sleeping inside.

24hr laundry is perfect for night owls. The machines are new, laundry is $7.50, dryers are $.25 for every five minutes. No laundry attendant on duty so no help of you need anything. …

Much cleaner then most laundry places. The homeless don't bother me, I usually wash around 2-3 am coming out of work and buy them breakfast. People should try to put themselves in other people's shoes. If you have 50 cents left on your card, add a dollar 🤔!Thank you Wash House. …

My first time coming here, and I’m a little disappointed. My cards are stuck in the machine and the attendant only speaks Spanish, and just walked away when i told her what happened. Tried to call someone, but all i got was a voicemail. …

It smells in here, i dont have a problem with the homeless people, it’s a fact that they don’t have on a mask and they smell bad. There is nowhere to sit, I usually come a couple hours before closing to avoid a lot of people. It’s 5 …

They always have plenty of machines available. For the most part it stays clean. I wish the homeless didn't hang out in the bathroom but other than that it's a great place to wash at!👍 …
