Kenwood Laundromat

I hadn't used a laundromat in quite a while and I had heard good things about Kenwood Laundromat. The place was clean, well organized, and the vibe was vintage with some cute laundry-associated art. I didn't know how to go about a more electronic system because I'm old-school, but the signage was very helpful! Any time I needed help figuring the process, there was a sign answering my question. I loved seeing the old-school Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. The machines have helpful timers and there are different sizes, priced accordingly. The owner popped in during my visit & he was very personable & nice. They are conveniently located in the Kenwood square between SuperOne and several food places. If I need to use a laundromat again, I'll be running back over to Kenwood Laundromat again!

*UPDATE* They reimbursed me as quick as they could, and apologized for the issue. All is well, and I still will keep coming back!* This place ripped me off! I use the card dispenser, put in 10 bucks, machine then puts out a new card, so all should be set up right? Nope! Washer said invalid card, went to the card dispenser to check the balance, also invalid card. Where'd my money go then? Tried getting a hold of customer service, no reply other than the initial "Please text me". I've used this place multiple times in the past with no issues, and now when I need customer service it's as if they're trying to steal my money. Very disappointed with this.

In from out of town for a few months ,I like this laundromat.. it's clean everything works and unlike the other big laundromat in the area ,the Wi-Fi works!

Good quality machines, clean, wifi. Supermarket next to it where you can buy detergent or use the vending inside. It is possible to buy a laundry card with debit or credit.

My family was returning from the camping trip and we had to do some laundry in Duluth. I would recommend this laundromat to everyone! Reasonable prices, clean, and convenient location.

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a higher average review rating. It's by far the nicest laundromat I've ever been to. I went here three times during a work trip to Duluth, and the place was always clean and well lit, with all the machines in good working order. The pricing is quite reasonable, and the card system is a nice departure from the unreliable quarter machines at most other places. It also has free Wi-Fi and is right next to a nice coffee shop, for added perks. Definitely a recommended location if you need to do laundry.

Grateful for a clean, affordable, local laundromat. The owner Brent takes really great care of the place (he’s currently painting as I write this review) and is incredibly kind. Love the added bonus of free WiFi and killer tunes. Cheers!

First time here and I'd never come here again as the owner who is supposed to take care of things in this facility does not. They have a change machine that states it gives 3 5 dollar bills and 20 quarters for a 20 dollar bill. This didn't, it only gave 20 dollars in quarters. Now here's the kicker the machines don't take money hence quarters, you have to get a card from the next machine that only takes bills. So I call the number here online and a man answers and I explain what's the issue and he states what would you like me to do for you? (In that voice everyone hates) I said for starters your job and make sure these machines have bills in them since the next machine don't take quarters. He goes on how he can't always be sure there are bills in it. This right here is a lazy self absorbed business owner who feels entitled to people's business but not to have to do what comes with it. People beware of this laundromat. Bring your own bills cause this man don't like work.

Well kept laundromat. Brent (owner/manager) is very responsive if any issues. Card system is super easy to use and convenient.

Machines won't accept cash I put $7 onto a card. When I went to use the washer, it said that there was 49 cents on the card. I put another $7 on the card. The washer worked then. There was no way to get a refund posted. No employees. I would like to give 0 stars. Avoid this place unless you want to pay $14 to do a double load.

I would give them zero if I could. The x- changer won't take my credit card so I used cash. Then the $9 washer had a door error. So I went to another machine and that one said I had a in invalid card. So I left and went to the Maytag laundry. A d everything works there.

Clean, average pricing, hands free automatic door. Owner responds quickly to messages. Convenient location with a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Best of all, it's not downtown.

So nice to not need quarters. Bright and airy space. Reasonable prices. Clean. I came here when our home dryer was broken and we had to wait for a new one. Now using it to do big bulky loads of bedding. Also WiFi which is a nice amenity.
