Northside Laundromat & Tanning

Update: The hours have changed again but the biggest change is that they built a wall and closed off the bathroom to the public. I have been coming to this laundromat for years. Every time I come now it’s one thing or another. The hours change all the time! You cannot plan to come because you don’t know if they will even be open. Today I come and I load up the washing machines with my detergent and fabric softener. When I went to start the one machine it was offline. There is not an attendant onsite to even inform plus I’m out by of fabric softener (yes that’s my fault) but now I wasted my soap and softener. Extremely frustrated at this point. It’s definitely time to find a different laundromat mat.

Let me start off by saying whoever owns this place has their head up their butt & the people who work at this location are nothing like them. I had a washer take my money & not run. The worker verified this & when they contacted their boss, I was told it all looked good on their end & I would not be getting my money back. I have been going to this location specifically for almost 3years & I will never set foot back in this facility again. Someone who is so rich & owns so many businesses really couldn’t refund a loyal customer back their deserved $8?! It was really going to break your bank like that?! Greedy & selfish.

This laundromat is the dirtest laundromat I have seen. I happened to have a doctor's appointment today in the area and decided to use this facility. I highly do not recommend this laundromat. All the washers are filthy with black and white crud in the soap dispensers and green/ black gunk in washers. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I mentioned this to my husband and the worker "told me I can go somewhere else if I want. Not only a filthy facility but also very rude staff. I only really noticed the filth after I had opened the soap dispenser but had gotten change, at that point I would have left but the process had already started. It was so hot inside there were no fans or windows or doors poen, I couldn't even stay near my laundry due to the heat.

Let me express my utter disappointment in this company! I have come to your salon for many years and since the last month and a half it has been the worst place ever! It is hit or miss whether you are open whether you have no signs or signs on your door to let us know if you're open or not open. There is always an excuse. There is non-stop bad-mouthing other employees. how can you run a tanning salon if you don't have any samples of the tanning lotions for purchase I have asked about this three times in the last two weeks! this is a terrible business I will be taking Business Places that actually are open and want to service their customers!

I will never walk into this place ever! I went in for the last wash, my clothes went in the dryer, I spoke to the attendants, and I said I am going to Walgreens I will be back in less than 5 minutes! When I returned, the doors were locked and lights off!! My clothes were inside this place!! RUDE!!!! VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!! I do NOT RECOMMEND!! BEWARE IF YOUR WASHING AT THE LAST MINUTE! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE OR USE THE BATHROOM OR ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND LEAVE YOU NAKED!!

Google says laundromat is open until 8:00, sign on the door says 6:00. Both change machines were out of order & the one machine that was available to use via the app was offline. Not a worker in site to make change or answer what their hours actually are.

I love this place! It's super clean, great staff, and just got new machines! SpeedQueen app works well, easy to use and reload funds. Video game table, coffee, restroom, and this place has tanning. Great for doing large comforters and bulky items!

This review is mainly just a note on their pricing. If anyone's on here looking for prices their smallest washer is $5.50 and their bigger washers are $7.

My go to laundry-mat Marcie is awesome :)
