Offers a variety of washer sizes that cost between $6, $11, and $16 depending on what size you use I used the $6 washer and it took 23 minutes, followed by $3 for dryer for 33 mins of time, so could do a load of wash for $9 ATM inside that dispenses $20 and change machine that dispenses $1 coins. Washers only take $1 coins, no quarters. Expect to pay between $10-30 depending on amount of laundry you have Convenient if you need to do a quick load of wash
HORRIBLE. Dirty, expensive, and the $2 box of soap powder has a teaspoon on powder in it. And where is the “free WiFi” information? Scam!!!
The fam and I decided to give this laundromat a chance, despite the bad reviews. Pros and cons. Cons To start, the building needs maintenance/updates. In all of our days of traveling, I've never seen prices so high. The prices are absolutely way too high. I thought the laundromat down the street was bad, but it's actually cheaper and at least the building looks like the owner puts money back into their company. It has small isle's on the inside, so I do not recommend people in wheel chairs to come here. There are a lot of out-of-order machines, both washer, dryers and the snack machines are down. Pros, the 2 washing machines we used were the largest (standard Large loads) and cleaned well. Current PRICES: It was $22.00 for both washers ($11 each). The dryers are 25¢ and it took about $8 for the dryers. The other washers that we did not use, they were smaller are $9 each cycle. All in all, I understand the ways of inflation, but I still feel bad for the local townspeople who depends on laundromat services because they are getting ripped off and they deserve better than that. I noticed the ownership gets salty with bad reviews and has to put their two-cents in but I just hope they listen with their heart not their pockets. The people need lower pricing. Many families with small children come here, they depend on you.
Leavenworth 4th Street Laundromat 705 S 4th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048 Laundromat Micheal Smith 35 points a day ago I hate businesses that do not clearly state the price of the service. It took me a while to figure out that the number on the machines is the cost. 36 quarters for a wash . That was way to much money for the load I had. Did not realize until I started dropping coins. To much trouble to go through the refund process so went ahead and paid. I little scamming in my opinion. Response from the owner 4 hours ago So sorry you had a problem. No scamming at all. Each and Every washer display is lit showing the price. Each washer has on the top left front the 5 step process to start and operate the machine. That 36 quarters/ $9 triple load washer is designed to wash 30 lbs of wet clothes. Washers should be filled 1/2 way (like a dryer) for the best washing experience. Most people understand if a dryer is completely filled, then there would be no air flow space allowed for the drying process to work. Washers completely filled will leave no room for water or the washing action needed. This Dexter Brand Equipment we offer is the Best in the Laundry Business. We offer 4 washer sizes from $6 to wash 20lbs of wet clothes up to $15 on hot setting on our largest 60# of wet clothes Washer. We offer 2 sizes of dryers. Both same heat setting and price. $1 = 16 minutes of dry time. I suggest 32-48 minutes to dry the correctly loaded dryer. Jeans, towels and of course blankets and comforter's would take longer. Take Care & Stay Safe You should clearly state the price with a sign . Why don't you? You say it's not a scam. I will not use your service ever again. Just drop the review down to one star . Bye
Just recently moved to Leavenworth from Bonner springs. Bonner springs laundry mat 6 load washer is $8.50.......Leavenworth 6 load washer is $13.00!!!!!🤯 The dryers are only a quarter like I'm use too. They had numerous machines out of service but the working one's worked fine. I'm guessing Leavenworth laundry mat has been there a long time. The flooring was torn up and filthy in a lot of spots. Luckily I was able to fold my blankets without touching the floor. All in all the laundry mat served it's purpose.
I came here because I seen the dexter machines thinking they're hooked up to the app. They're not, slapped clothes in a machine before I noticed that's on me or I would of went somewhere else. all the machines are gold dollar machines. No place to hook phone up. It's the bare minimum for a laundromat.
Prices aren’t clear and 6x higher than the hotel! $9+ per wash versus $1.50 at the hotel. You’ll see a 36 or more number on the machine, and that’s not how many minutes it will take that’s the quarters!
For a laundromat it has everything you need but extremely pricey. For their smallest load of clothes is 9.75 starting. Drying can be taken care of with 2.00 depending on load size. I'd honestly say 6-7 for a wash is more reasonable
All the machines I used were functional and there were no issues. This location can get pretty busy, but earlier in the mornings, specifically around 9 am or so, its pretty quiet. Machines work off the traditional quarters as opposed to the more modern process of debit cards or store cards. Washers range from $3.50 to $12.00 depending on size of loads and temperature of water. Dryers start at $0.25 per 8 minutes.
This is not a good place to do laundry, it is not handicap accessible. Also when I visited there all of the small machines were out of order and the prices are high also one of the change machines was empty andtheother one didn't take twenty dollar bills. The Carriage Works Laundromat is way better.
