Tinley Park Laundromat

So happy I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a laundromat! I arrived around 6pm on a Monday and it was empty.. MARVELOUS. Theres nothing I dread more than a packed laundromat. I got to work quickly used a 60lb machine at only $8.50. The place is small so I can see it getting crowded fast, but maybe I got lucky. There are cameras, vending machines and coin machines as well. I left at around 8pm and there was maybe 2-3 people in there at a time. I notice people tend to put their clothes to wash and then leave. The only thing I will mention is I put about 25 minutes in the dryer and my clothes were just a smidge damp, not enough for me to put them back in for another cycle tho. Overall great little place! I will definitely be coming back!

When I first started coming to this laundromat it was clean but now every Sunday I am there are 8am or 9am the places is filthy. The cleaning woman comes in when the places is full kicking up dust bugging people's allergies disrupting people washing because she wants to sweep. I explained to her cleaning those dryer vents should be down before folks come in because it causes folks to sneeze and breathe that in. That she should be cleaning early and not when it is at busy times. I never had this issue before when the older gentleman use to clean. He did it when folks weren't in and it was busy by the time you came in the place was clean. Not to mention the dryers suck up your quarters and clothes still not dry. I will be finding other places to do my laundry. This place is going down and looks like they only after the money.

The owner of worker of this laundromat is extremely rude and arrogant. I called to asked him a simple question about one of his machines and the first thing he tells me is “it’s self serve and there’s nothing I can do about it”. He didn’t even know what my issue was or how it could be corrected. I proceeded to ask him his name and he wouldn’t even give it to me. I didn’t know that’s how places of business conduct themselves or their owners. John, Jim , or whatever fake name he chooses to use is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND going to this laundromat EVER. His attitude is as disgusting as the facility and he’s extremely disrespectful. You’re better off going all the way to Chicago or any other neighborhood facilities to handle your clothes being clean.

Came in today to do lot of laundry. I just had newborn twins and they go through clothes like crazy. I also had to wash mine and my husband’s clothes. The first thing I did was start cashing in my singles for quarters so that when I bring in my laundry I can get right to washing. I’ve never had a bad experience before and while my clothes wash I usually clean the place a bit. Today Some older man with white hair came up to me while I was cashing in my money for quarters and said “ma’am you’re taking all my quarters, I gotta pay for that you know.” I was confused. I’m not stealing I’m exchanging currency. I just stopped putting my money in the machine. I said “oh it’s all singles” thinking that he probably thinks I’m getting a bunch of quarters. He said “I know but go to a bank.” Then he said “ just finish up but I mean come on.” Very disrespectful! I been coming in here on and off for the past few years but after my encounter with what I think is the owner or maybe manager I’m good. When he saw me leaving he said I could finish up. But after him having an issue with me getting quarters I think I’ll pass. Maybe if he has an issue with it he should invest in washing machines that take card payments.

Great customer service! I had an issue with one of the machines. I called the number posted on the wall and within 20 minutes the owner came and resolved my issue. Great guy, very helpful and professional. The place is clean and very well maintained also!

So happy to have found a nice place near my home to bring my larger quilts and beddings! Machines are clean and well maintained. Owner was present and very helpful with helping me decide which machine to use for my california king comforter. My new go to place for my laundry needs!

1st time here, very clean, staff very nice, hours open are excellent for people that work odd shifts

I'm appalled at the ignorance of those using your facility who feel they are entitled to sit in their vehicles in the fire lane while doing their laundry in front of your facility. They park to the point they also block entry from the lot to your door. Even though people should know not to park in fire lanes, You should have a sign on your window telling your customers not to do it. Customers using your facility SHOULD NOT have to walk around parked vehicles in front of your door in order to get into or out of your laundry mat.

I am currently at this location and I WILL NEVER COME BACK! I'm unsure who gave all the great reviews. 1st there is no air conditioning unless you call 4 fans air conditioning. NO washrooms! There is no attendant yet somehow they have 3 cameras. I spent more on dryers than I did on washing. Not to mention you get 8 minutes for .25. I'm taking my whites of sheets and towels to my laundromat and dry them there. I'm waiting now for my towels to maybe dry. The only reason I didn't go to my laundromat, is because I m having breakfast with my son in this area. NEVER AGAIN AND I MEAN NEVER.

Had the place to myself between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. I had the opportunity to meet Rich, the manager. He was very nice and extremely helpful. I also met the owner, can't remember his name but he's great! He even remembers his long time customers names! Very clean and nice safe place to do laundry. And the hours are amazing!
