Bad experience. I wrote in my orders notes that I wanted stiff collars on my dress shirt. The shit did not come back starched and was also not properly ironed. The collar was more saggy than when I dropped it off, and more wrinkly. When I called the store to explain my issue, the gentlemen on the phone was argumentative, and was more interested in making me look dumb than listening to my issue. He actually said “well is the shirt ruined?” I said “no” and he proceeded to explain why that’s fine, and that “99% of people are happy with what I got.” He also explained that perviously my items where being taken to a Skokie location rather than here. It’s unfortunate that location closed because this new one makes me reconsider using this service versus the local mom and pop shop. If you choose to use this service I would urge people to throughly explain everything they want done in great detail, otherwise these guys will likely find a way to sell you short. Update 9/18. Tried them again. Exact same issues. They told me “sorry but the employee that received the order doesn’t speak English” that’s why they didn’t read my note about ‘dry clean only’. Thanks for ruining my shirt. Also never got the refund on my last order. Probably not getting the refund for this order either…..
I was shocked to see one of my white blouses was returned with a new stain and a piece of food on it instead of being clean. It’s a white blouse, which had no stains on it before and just needed to be cleaned for freshness. I noticed it immediately before even taking it out of the clear plastic wrap because it was on top of the grouping of hangers. This would be upsetting about any clothing item but of all the many pieces I sent in for dry cleaning, this is by far the most expensive one :( It appears to be from a red sauce like marinara from pizza or pasta. It clearly was dirtied *after* it had been cleaned, before it was put under the plastic or else there would not have been an actual piece of food on it. When I respectfully informed customer service via email with photos they did not apologize for the unprofessionalism of this happening or take any accountability. They asked me to send it back for them to inspect it. My photos are sufficient for evidence of what happened. Asking me to take any additional steps or expecting me to trust the same people with it that ruined it is not the right response. Even a full refund for my entire order will be less than this blouse cost. I will consider updating my rating if they follow through on a full refund. People are human and I know mistakes can happen. It is the way customer service handles it that makes all the difference.
Love this place! Descent prices and the coupons are great! I took a king size comforter in not worried about when I would get back as I had an extra. Within a few hours I received an email saying it was ready for pickup!!! What !! I was surprised and happy to get it back the same day! Tide you’re AMAZING! Thank you for great service and pricing!
Convenient locker pick up and drop off, but the promos feel misleading. I keep getting emails for 30% off, yet the app and website only ever show 20%. There is no clear way to contact central customer support, the Help link just routes to the local shop, which could not assist, which is super frustrating. Feels like a bait and switch scam. I used to like the service itself, I just want the advertised price to match what I can actually redeem. Please honor the 30% emails and provide a real support contact.
I sent the sweater out through the tide locker in my apartment. The tags were half off when I got it back, and the Celine font was initially white and it’s now yellow-brown. I don't know how you dry clean. Bad experience
5/5 stars! Tide Dry Cleaners exceeded my expectations in every way! Their service was fast, friendly, and professional. The quality of the dry cleaning is top-notch - my clothes came back looking like new! The prices are very reasonable too. I've found my new go-to dry cleaners. Highly recommend! Drive Thru service is very convenient, love it!
I love the convenience but the lockers in my building at 400 E Randolph are very inconsistent. Sometimes, when my laundry is done, I enter the code, the 'gear' turns green - but the locker is jammed closed. Sometimes, an empty locker won't activate the keys for you to enter a code. Getting customer service help is near impossible. The customer service number on this locker location gives a full voice mail message!!!! There isn't even an email to reach out to. VERY disappointing because I really find theses lockers extremely handy
I've been enjoying Tide Cleaners services for some years now and their customer service is exceptional. Their prices are within the budget. Love it because its convenient.
Super convenient with pickup and delivery at condo, and the pricing is on par with local dry cleaners. Overall, I've been very satisfied with the service which I've been using for 5+ years now.
I requested expedited service for 2 items, a request the associate promptly fulfilled. He courteously explained the associated surcharge, a transparency I appreciated. Furthermore, he applied a courtesy 20% discount. I highly recommend their services! ⭐️
