Used to go to these cleaners since they were nearby. The shirts would usually come back well and to my liking. However, the service is horrendous. And then recently, I asked for three shirts to be re-done since the collars were not clean ... it seemed as if all they did was press the shirts without laundering. For the redo, I asked for them to be returned on the same day. They said fine. And then, when I picked them up, they told me they needed to charge me for them (after paying for them the first time around). I was shocked. They were charging me to re-do something that was not done properly in the first place (did I mention ... even when I paid for them the first time around)! The excuse given was that I "always" ask for the shirts to be returned on the same day and therefore they cannot clean them propertly. That was factually incorrect. There are occasions in which I ask for them to be done on the same day but not often. And even then, shouldn't they be able to clean the shirts successfully with same day service ... if not, wouldn't they let me know beforehand? The situation has happened on three separate occasions and on each time the owner (Paula) handled it poorly. The customer service skills of Silk Road are lacking. I am now going to switch to another cleaners (BTW, we have witnessed other customer arging with the owner on other issues).

I had a very small tear on my camel hair blazer and they did a great job fixing it in a timely manner. Reasonable pricing! Friendly front counter service.
