Dunn Avenue Coin Laundry

Went to wash blankets yesterday and usual spot was closed so I tried out this location. Machines are very old and a few washers had a very bad smell. There are only 6 laundry carts so we didn't have one to use part of the time we were there. The lady working never once spoke to us, not even a hello. Dryers also were not getting very hot making drying difficult. Will not be returning.

I’ve been going here on and off for the past two years and today I had an encounter with a lady which name I did not get whose hairline is receding. She purposefully took my clothes out of the dryer, and then said that it was too much in there while simultaneously trying to control any and everyone inside of the laundromat. When I expressed to my mother what happened she started getting irate and sweeping close by my feet and walking very closely while talking stuff and saying she was “too old for this.” Although we did not speak to her, she then gets loud with me and tells me I have no respect and starts criticizing my mom about respect and tells me I am a little girl mind you I am almost 30 years old… She then is screaming and hollering inside of the laundromat, not caring that customers are there over something very simple, and when I started to rebuke her, she then got louder and said she was covered by the blood of the lamb and then starts to antagonize even more and involve other customers. She then stopped when I started to record her because the behavior was unacceptable. I understand that we are in Jacksonville and people are not always the happiest and friendly, but I think it was a disrespect to the establishment as well as other customers for her to handle that as well as being as old as she is, I believe she knew better and took her day out on random people. I had not said any words to her prior except that her tone and delivery was not great before she started to yell when she did take my clothes out. I think overall, you guys need to do better if you have signs up that says “be nice or get out!” you need to make sure that your employees are doing the same I will not be returning. Washer and dryers are great so I gave it a two star. Do better, God bless.

Today I did some laundry. I left a towel, a jacket, and a dress shirt. I don’t care about the jacket or towel but the dress shirt was worn by my boyfriend our first date. I know you guys don’t hold onto others personal belongings but it would mean so much to me if you did. There was a wonderful lady working there today that helped me get a coke after the machine took my money. I’ll be there first thing after work around 10am. I’ll still come to this place regardless because I realize it was my responsibility . I stand by my word that the staff has been nothing but lovely.

The rudest staff member there the machine fails and it's my fault and then she talks about me to other customers more than once she needs to be fired on the spot ... will never come back there again lost my business . Staff member should practice their sign .. should be allowed negative stars

Nice and clean and the laundry attendant lady is very nice!! Recommend this place. Fast washer and dryer’s and not bad price!!!

1st and last time I come to this location. I came in alone with 2 comforters and a heavy blanket to wash. Left it on a folding table to get the detergent and fabric softener from the car. The attendant came and asked me if the items I brought in were dirty. I answered yes. "Well, I just finished wiping down these tables, next time just put them in a machine". To which I answered "I'm sorry I didn't know the protocol ". The rude assumption, I will not tolerate. If I didn't have a need to just get it done, I would've gone somewhere else. I will never set foot in this establishment again.

They are clean, but they don't give enough time per quarters for drying

People are nice, cleanliness is shabby, washers and dryers could be clean more regularly. 1/2 of all the machines don't work. How much money are they missing out on if the machines don't work? I watch people walk in and leave because no machines available. Prices are pretty steep as well.

Rude attendant. Machine did not spin out 1 blanket. Lady was extremely rude about water being dripped on floor. No matter what I said she had to insert her rudeness. Will not return to this laundry mat. Very expensive too.
