Amos Wash N Dry

Very busy on a Saturday morning 🌄. I saw someone working on wash and fold orders. Dry cleaning and tanning as well. Amenities offered are folding tables, carts, Wifi, bathroom, reading material, sink and a vending machine. High prices for machine usage and you have to use a laundromat card to purchase time. Three sizes of washers, two sizes of dryers. If you want warm or hot water or permanent press cycle on washers, the price increases. The machines do a good job though. Was chilly inside. Lots of signs. Laundromat is clean and looks nice. Good amount of parking. Facemasks required.

The people who work here are amazing. This is probably the cleanest Laundromat I have seen in the north east. I paid only $6.50 to do my own small load 😳 Normally I like to drop my clothes off and they will wash fold and it comes out to about $20-30 which is really worth it. It's nice not having to fold 😅

Amos Laundromat saved the day during my laundry emergency! I arrived with 8 large bags of skunk-tinged laundry, feeling overwhelmed. Jen, the manager, recommended the fisherman's cocktail that's worked to tackle some of the worst smells. Amy, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful and patiently walked me through the entire process. The facility itself is impeccably clean, and the large-capacity machines were perfect for handling the substantial amount of laundry I had. Whether you're dealing with a laundry crisis or just need a reliable place for your regular wash, Amos Laundromat has a combination of friendly, knowledgeable staff and top-notch facilities that makes this place a true gem in the neighborhood.

SCAMMY false pricing. Initially, it says $4.60 for a normal hot wash then when you choose the normal warm setting, it adds over a dollar WHY? Warm water takes less resources to produce than hot water and it shouldn't be a dollar more for normal cycle. there is no reason for different cycles on the same machine to be over a dollar difference in price point. That's a total SCAM.

Amos Wash and Dry are the furthest from being scams. Totally surprised with the negative review. Amos Wash and Dry always puts the customers first. Furthermore, you should get your facts correct warm water cycles are not more than hot ones. Of course you will pay a bit more for warm or hot versus cold water!

Amy is AMAZING!!!!! She educated me on the washers and how to save money on washing my clothes. I’ve been going for 2 years and she is the friendliest, warming personality. She goes out of her way to help me and it’s such a clean, welcoming facility. Thank you Amy!!

I have been using Amos Wash N Dry for years. The primary reason is Amy, who is an employee but assumes all the responsibilities of an owner. She is attentive, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and, in general, just fun to be around. Amy goes out of her way to help and anticipates any need. She is the glue that holds the place together. So Jerry, with all due respect, whatever her salary is, it’s not enough! I emphasize that that is my opinion and totally unsolicited!!

As far as their wash n fold services they're excellent, but as far as their customer relations not so hot. My husband had a few empty Suboxone wrappers that he forgot in his work pants. She publicly shamed me for us being in recovery. For having no idea where we've been and what hell we crawled out of. She had no right to say that an empty rapper would have residue on it to cause her harm. First of all a film doesn't have the capacity to absorb through the skin of your hands anyway. It's a sublingual medication it needs the moisture of your mouth and the vast blood supply under your tongue to be absorbed. By the way there were no films left in his pockets. Just empty wrappers. And she loudly said that "we can't have this and you need to think of the health and safety of the rest of us!" As if I would put anybody's health and safety at risk! And I calmly said well I'm sorry that you experience that. And then she again shamed me with "well I'm sure you had no idea what was in your pockets" as if I was a mindless junkie that had no idea what was going on in my life. For your information I've been clean & sober for 8 years, 8 years without a slip or a relapse of any kind and I am self-employed! I mean I could have let it Go, but nah what she did was so wrong she behaved like a total Karen. I didn't catch her name but she was one of the owners.

Great laundry center with awesome machines

This is a great laundromat. Clean, friendly staff, easy to use card system and a great variety of washers and dryers. The laundry carts and folding tables make things much easier to switch clothes from washer to dryer or from the dryer to a folding table. The tables are clean and large enough to get everything folded up before going on your way. With WiFi and a large clean bathroom as well as chairs, it's not boring to sit and wait with your laundry if you choose to. With staff on hand and restaurants and shopping so close by though, it's also easy to pop out and come back when your clothes are ready to switch or fold.

I cannot say enough about the staff at this laundromat! Jamie was so kind. She helped me get the machine I needed for the massive amount of laundry I had. The facility is clean and child friendly. Thankfully they was a tv. My 3.5 year old got to watch while I folded!

This laundromat is amazing. Always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Only flaw is that they could use more washers and dryers during busy wash times. Could you set up a location in Raleigh, NC?

The employees are all so wonderful! I get the wash, dry and fold service on Wednesdays because it's discounted! Same day pick up, if it's dropped off early enough!

Great facility, always help on shift, easily cut my 4-5 hour laundry day at home to 1.5 hours. So worth coming if your apartment washer and dryer isnt up to par

Fairly cheap washing & drying. My biggest complaint is that they aren't coin operated. You have to transfer money to THEIR card in order to use the machines. And if you dont use the money on the card within a certain amount of time, you lose it.

Hands down the best Laundromat I've ever been too! It's clean, the machines are so fast and they even take debit cards, so there's no more dragging quarters around to do your laundry anymore!

Amos is awesome, not only is the owner a really nice guy he keeps the place spotless.you can eat off of the floors for Pete sake.he recently repainted the walls a nice sea blue and the walls are warm and welcoming.i rate this place a ten out of 5 stars.
