Ehrenberg Laundromat Mall

It is SO HOT trying to do your laundry. Had to make a pit stop because on a road trip and everything was sweaty. It looks like it has not changed in 40 years. No A/C and 115° outmade it a real challenge, but first world problems I suppose. Got the job done.

This is the sketchiest laundromat I've ever been to, and as a traveler, that's saying something. Less than 50% of anything works. Most of the machines are out of service (at least they're marked), the change machine is out of order, the bathroom is out of order, the water refill station is out of order, and at the time of my visit they would not sell any refridgerable items, even beverages in cans (suspicious). That said, you can buy firewood and basic supplies here, so you can restock while laundering. And they're the only show in town to get your laundry done. Not even tempted to ask about the shower option, I'll go to the Flying J up the street.

There's a really nice Vegan Soup and Smoothie stand that is just absolutely Amazing! Its literally like .7 miles from the Flying J and Best Western. This place is deffinatly a hidden Jem. If you are ever in the area you Need to stop and get a nice cold smoothie!

2 showers, clean. No towel provided. Very hot water (actually watch out!). More than half of the laundry machines are broken. Ask someone who looks like a regular before you waste money. Coin exchange machine was in good working order. Lots of parking. Also has air/water for your car and I saw a propane exchange service (I didn't use either of these).

A lot of machines are out of order, so I knocked a point off for that. They have six-load washers for $9 and three-load washers for $5. We spent $2 per dryer for adequate drying.

Rude! We had been using the laundry and showers there for about a month as we were camping nearby. The shower temp cant be regulated. Its either freezing cold or scalding hot. The laundry has only a few working washers and only 4 out of 17 dryers worked. We used the business anyway because it was nearby.They have a restroom in laundry room with a sign that states no public restroom. In all my previous experiences that has meant no public, but paying customers were welcome to use. I went and asked for the key and the girl working said sorry its not for public. I said I am a paying customer. She said no one can use it. I walked away and told my husband she wouldn't let me use restroom. She then says if you don't like it go somewhere else. No worries I will and you will never earn a dollar from us again! What type of business says that to a paying customer.?

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is there price to wash is so Lowe. $1.50 per wash. 15 dryers were out of order, leaving only 3 to use. Same with the washers. 4 worked 13 out of order. I was only person there so I got lucky. If more machines worked 5 stars no problem. I will come back.

Most of the washers are out of order. Half the dryers don't work either. Had to get my money back on a dryer that wouldn't get hot. Paid $10 for a shower with very little water pressure that would not hold its temperature. Took 10 minutes to get it right, then 6 minutes later, it would go ice cold. Readjust, then it got boiling hot after a few minutes. I complained, and they had no concern. As a nomad, I used to go here regularly for years. Not going to bother anymore.

More than half of the washers and dryers have “out of order” signs on the front of them. That being said, there is hardly ever anyone using them, so you can usually get a washer and dryer. It is clean. The showers are adequate.

The only open laundromat in Quartzsite was packed so we thought we give this one a try. It was noon on a Monday. The place was almost empty. Never more than two of us in there at a time. There aren't a lot of high capacity washers and at least half of the dryers are out of order, but since there weren't a lot of us there, it wasn't a problem. There is also a convenient store there and showers ($10).

The family that runs this place is super friendly. The showers really are worth $8 (compared to Flying J over the bridge). The laundromat washers are fairly solid but the dryers can act up. Cheapest tobacco I found in the area.
