Florida Street 24/7 Laundromat

No AC, Bathrooms we're out of order or locked with no attendant on site. Did I mention it's hot and no AC. Looks trashy as well. I will not recommend coming here. I definitely won't!

I have been using this facility for 4 years now. When I first started going it was in fairly decent condition considering it is a 24/7 facility. Stayed clean-ish and all the machines were working, as well as the A/C. Starting in I think 2023 things started going downhill. The A/C stopped working. Eventually a “portable” A/C got brought in, but because it was not maintained appropriately it also does not work. So the facility gets to be INCREDIBLY hot. Which I think is ultimately causing a lot of the other issues. About 6 of the dryers are currently out of service, probably because they can easily be overheated in the already hot facility. The ceiling tiles are falling in because doors are having to stay propped open to keep the air circulating causing them to get more humid air to them than they should. And all this after the prices went up for the washers (used to be $2, $4, $6 and now $3, $6, $8). I understand prices going up based off cost of everything else going up IF things were being maintained, but they aren’t. I won’t fault the owner for things that terrible patrons do like stealing the laundry carts bringing us down from 6 to 2, or trashing the facility between daily cleanings, because that is not something they can control. Honestly, I would never replace the carts if all of them end up gone because that’s on the patrons. BUT maintenance of the machines, the A/C, and the building should be done.

I liked it. It was quiet. The lady that was over it was nice.

It ain’t bad. Washers work, $3.00 for small washer, $6.00 for medium, $8.00 for large. Takes about 25 minutes to wash and the dryer goes by $0.25 for 4 minutes. The dryers are huge. There is no A/C at this time but I just hung out in my car while I waited. There is no soap to purchase here, just bring your own. Also, the change machine gives it’s change in dollar coins which both the washers and the dryers do of course accept here.

I liked the after-hours and half off washer/dryer after midnight. This laundry location used to be nice. One morning I saw a homeless man sleeping on the floor under the table and another standing outside. There was no hot water running in the washer after selecting the hot water temperature. So, I switched the temperature to cold and water begin to run in the washer...not good business at all. Maybe management has changed for this location because before then, they took cared and had pride for this location. Just be careful in your surroundings at this location.

Paid for two dryers that didn't dry. Fortunately, a patron there told me which dryers were best. The clothes were dried. Oddly, upon adding exactly equal amounts into these working dryers somehow one's timer was 40 minutes while the other was 60. It's a laundromat for sure.

Who requires you to use a card to wash and dry clothes what will never use them again

This place is a rip off. only A handful of machines is working in this place. if you put money into the wrong machine They will steal your money.I personally lost up to like twenty dollars using a roll machine if the machine It doesn't work you should put Out of service on the machines that don't work instead of stealing people's money. I don't recommend this location

This one is much cleaner than the others he owns and the machines don't steal your money. But I'm still only giving 3 stars because of the owner .
