Coin-op Laundromat

This is by far the worst laundromat I have ever been to because they use speed queen washers that are outdated. Its like they got some crappy washers and crappy dryers and decided that will be the only option for people living in the area to do lundry. Secondly, the lady that works the front does not understand plan English and she thinks anyone that is questioning her is causing problems. She screams at me and tells me I don't know what Im doing and all I can do is stand there and look at her with confusion as she believes she is doing the right thing. I am about to call the cops on this lady just so I can have a witness to her behavior because she is rude, mean, and it doesn't matter if you try to talk to her, she will look at you like you were born yesterday and try to kick you out of the laundromat. There coin machine, doesn't give you just regular quarters. You also get to lose more money at this location because the coin machine spits out foreign money for your us currency and she is basically stealing your money. I am disgusted by this place and the level of professionalism is non existent and I hate it when I have to write reviews like this, but they literally are stealing people money by having foreign currency in the coin changer. And the fact that every laundromat in Anchorage uses speed queen washers, but no one knows about the speed queen app is ridiculous. Its just an app Alaska, maybe just step into the future a little bit. This type of business is misleading and causes conflict because no one is even educated on what products they are using. I honestly can't believe that we still have to deal with this type of archaic system and customer service as well. People that run business like this should be shut down, put under a new management system, or something. You can't be mean to customers and not do your best to meet their needs and expect everything to keep going smoothly. Ill be back because this is the only laundromat in the area, and if I get disrespected or if someone is aggressive with me again, Im calling the cops and we all can burn in hell, ok bye.

The lady that works here is amazing. I swear she works 7 days a week. She is so friendly and helpful. She's pointed me to the right washers more than once. Best place to knock out a few blanket loads on the southside.

Not the worst but chsnge is often empty and the washers are $3 and can't do towels, blankets, or even a small hamper load. Took 3 washers to do 7 outfits and 2 towels

I went in last week to just wash my laundry/no drying... No employees/owners, just 1 other couples & I ... I sorted my clothes & put them in (3) washers all on HOT/NORMAL water temperature. I know @ least 1 washer started out giving my clothes HOT water cuz I felt the washer after it had started...When my washers we're done, I opened them 1 by 1 & 1 & notived...washer & started to unload my clothes into baskets. (OH!! & THEIR BASKETS ARE FREAKING OLD AS HELL, COMING APART ETC...!!!) & noticed right away that my clothes were COLD AS ICE to the touch...How does that even happen? When the whole wash 'cycle' should have distributed HOT WATER cuz that's what I wanted on all 3 washers but then feel your clothes COLD AS ICE!! No owners there...just myself at that point because they close @930pm!!

So far the cleanest laundry place I found (and we travel a bunch). Expensive .. $6 for a big wash and 25c for only 4 minutes of dryer... But the washer was done in 16min and everything was clean and dryer works well The lady is nice.

I found this wonderful place by accident, and have used it a couple of times since. The place is clean and service is great! Prices very reasonable as well!

Friendly employee. Very small. Waschingmachine were running short, but with a very good result. Can recommand.

Sun is the sweetest woman. She loves our son and always says hello to him and gives him a treat if she has one. He loves coming here. We do all of our laundry (about 90 lbs) in two $6 washers. They wash and rinse extremely well. The dryers work well and we put 32 minutes (25¢x2min) and get all our clothes done for $20. I think it's well worth it and I have found not one place else in Anchorage that has this good of a deal for the amount of clothes we have. I stay coming here!

A little small but it’s definitely the best laundry mat I have used in Anchorage. This woman who works there and is so nice and helpful! She helped with everything! Definitely would go back solely because of how nice she is!

I went there to do monthly laundry. Wasn't thinking, mind still on doctor. Forgot to put exact change in laundry detergent, needed another quarter. The lady barked need another quarter. I went on put laundry in, had 2 and half hours tell close. I was going outside to wait, tried to talk to her. Told I went to heart doctor and didn't go good. I was sorry. She barked back, I don't care. I am going home at 630pm. Finished laundry and made sure place was clean. She has Bible in front of her, is there for looks. Being Christians, love one another as you love yourself. Going to church doesn't make you Christians. Is every minute, hour, and day. Sorry I won't be back and won't recommend to other people's or church.
