I dropped off my white sneakers for cleaning, and when I picked them up on the scheduled date, they were still wet and stuffed in a plastic bag. The smell when I opened the bag was absolutely awful. I brought them back and asked for a redo, but they refused to help. Terrible service and zero responsibility. Do not trust them with your shoes
Original post (Dec '22): Dropped off about 10 shirts to be laundered ... imagine my surprise when three of them, two clearly marked "machine wash" and the third "100% cotton" were instead dry cleaned which, what a coincidence costs more than twice as much. Not the first time for this problem but it's going to be the last as we'll take our clothes elsewhere going forward. EDIT (Jan '23): Dropped off a few things despite my better interests today as it was cheap laundry day and I needed to drop off a boatload of hangers we'd collected. Imagine my surprise when I was told there was a credit on the account which covered the excess charges mentioned above. Nobody ever called or emailed to notify us of this; had I never returned I would have seen no refund so I've only bumped this from two stars to three.
Woman is rude and ignores customers we'll just go to normal Jack Brown's in my area with better service
We went to Jack Brown’s for the first time a couple days ago. They didn’t ask us about any special services. We just asked for a cleaning on two pants, two shirts, and a dress and the bill was 60 dollars!!!!!! They look the same as if I would have gone to any other cleaners just 3x as expensive. Also, the service was really slow. Usually if I drop our clothes off before 11 am our clothes would be done by 5, but they required more than 24 hours. I would not recommend.
We got two articles of clothing patched for holes. One was a flannel button down and the other a REI down camping jacket. Both turned out great!! You couldn't even tell where the holes were. Also, the price was very reasonable. The flannel was $9 and down jacket $13. Will be returning
I have been going to this Jack Brown for years. Mary has always been super friendly and she treats everyone very well. One of my favorite dresses had water stains on it, no other dry cleaners had been able to get them out. I didn't even ask her about the stains, but when I got the dress back they were gone. Definitely made my day!
I want to give a shout out to Mary who is the manager at Jack Brown Cleaners located at corner of O'Connor Dr and FM 620 in Round Rock Texas. I never give reviews unless the service is really bad or very awesome. I'm in a great mood today! I hung up my clothes today, and noticed that a shirt I lost a button to had a new one sewn in its place. I never brought it to her attention earlier this week, but was surprised that another matching one was back on the shirt. THANK YOU for the service, the expedited timing, and for the attention of details!!! TOTALLY recommend this location for everyone's needs!!!
Dropped off pants that needed a zipper fixed. Received text when they were ready stating TOTAL DUE: $26.46. Upon arrival they ring me up and tell me it's $32 something I show them the text THEY sent with the "total due" and a manager comes over and says because the zipper was metal the price was adjusted by the company that did the work, and then there is sales tax on top of that I show her the text and she brushes it off because that is "automated" I tell her I'm paying the $26.46 I was told via their system or they can keep the pants. I am now pantsless, but I have my $26.46 and my pride
Was quoted a different price on the phone and then charged 3 dollars more than expected. The work that was done on my uniform was ok at best. I left my nametapes on so they would know exactly where to place them. After being charged 4 DOLLARS to remove a nametape they still didnt get it right. Will no longer be doing business with this place and will definitely not recommended them.
Went to go pick up dresses that were dropped of at a different store and were sent to this location, when being picked up they hand them to me all balled up and said sorry we couldn’t get to them on time I was like well can I at least get them back in a hanger. Keep in mind we need to go to a wedding tomorrow and these dresses we’re dropped of two days ago. Worst place ever
