Balch Street Laundromat

AMAZING laundromat. We stopped going to our previous laundromat as machines were going out of order left and right, plus only 2 machines took card. This location is definitely our new go-to! The loyalty card is super easy to reload and gives perks like a reload bonus, free dryer credits per wash, and loyalty points every use. The place is extremely clean, staff super friendly, and there are a TON of machines. Super versatile to your needs. Washers in 20, 40, 60, and 90 pound sizes- dryers in 30 and 50 pound sizes. There is never more than one machine down at a time and as mentioned, they have very many. Should also mention there is snack and drink vending machines that you can also use the loyalty card balance on! All the machines in here are newer and much more responsive than any other laundromat I’ve gone to around the area. EVERY machine here takes card, tap, quarters, and the loyalty card. There is also a cash to coin machine. You need to start coming here.

This is the laundromat I always go to with no problem. But this particular day there was an older Caucasian woman who kept mopping the floors dripping wet repeatedly while putting my clothes in the dryer. I had asked a question about the dryer and she just snapped and was extremely rude. Other than that the other attendants are normally nice and helpful.

This is the Laundromat we normally go to. Most of the time we come in and the people who work here are just awesome. Today is 4/29/25 and we came in around 3:20 to switch our laundry over. I had my 3 kids in the car and they all needed to use the restroom. My husband was trying to get in the bathroom and it was a struggle... He asked the lady for help getting in and she got an attitude with him for no reason. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she was very unpleasant since the moment we walked in. I didn't get her name but I didn't have a good experience this time.

I've been visiting this facility for over 7 years without any issues until today. I was sitting on the benches when a elderly Caucasian lady moved the chairs right beside me and started spraying bleach 3 feet away from my face. I quickly asked her to stop as i could smell and taste the bleach. I have severe asthma and her actions were violent in my eyes. I immediately asked her to stop and why is she spraying bleach so close to me and she said It's diluted and I can just move. I angrily said a few more words then got up to move away. 2 mins later she follows me to the back of the facilities pretending to sweep directly in front of me. I was agitated at this point and asked her to get away from me repeatedly, which she would not. She was purposely provoking me to anger. I told her I'm reporting her to the owner and she said she was the owner. Update: I was able to speak to the owner and he is a true peace keeper. He quickly responded and resolved the issue. I really appreciate the time taken to adress my concerns. He truly cares about his facility and the customer experience.

Absolutely love this laundromat. Always clean. And the lady laundromat attendant that is ALWAYS always so sweet and so helpful when I'm there washing clothes. Thanks for giving me a safe and clean place to come and wash my clothes and feel comfortable.

Always clean machines. The staff training could definitely be better. If any machine takes your money you have to hope the person there can help if not you’re not getting it back. I left my name so it would be resolved when the right person did come in & still haven’t received a call.

This laundromat is comfortable and clean. Machines accept different methods of payment, including BQ laundromat card. Attendants are fine, one couple I see is really nice and keeps the place extra clean; they're always wiping stuff down. There's snack machines, a claw machine and coin candy and toy machines. My kids love the temporary tattoo dispenser. Great tattoos. Both TVs usually have entertaining things on. Even when it's busy it doesn't feel too crowded to me.

Friendly staff!! This laundromat is always clean. And having the loyalty card and getting free dryers is a big plus!!

Staff is ALWAYS helpful. They work to keep the facility clean and safe. Great people to interact with, I am a forver customer when I need to wash. The customer perks are great, free dry when you get so many points which is all the time. Basically every use. The phone app is AWESOME, especially when you forget the card. If its linked to your account use your phone app its great and easy to use. I am again a forever customer
