Very clean and efficient. You buy a machine card with credit card or cash. No need for coins. Can buy detergent and bleach here. They will also wash and dry your clothes for 15 lbs for 8 dollars. No coins needed. 12 dryers.
A majority of the negative reviews surround the expensive prices here (and they are expensive). But if you’re able to look past the prices, this spot is pretty convenient. I left my laundry here to be done by the staff, and everything went smoothly with the pickup/drop off. Everything was also folded, which was a nice benefit. They also have a charging station for your hand helds
Was on a five day trip visiting New York with a family of five so just needed a few things washed. Went in at 8am with a bag and it was ready by 5/5.30pm - they did say 7pm but we were in the area so popped in on the off chance and it was ready. Friendly and clothes all washed and folded.
Great price! Solid reliable service. I’ve never missed an item of clothing. Professional staff. (They are very encouraging if you try to practice Spanish with them like I do)
Laundry card machine takes card or cash. Easy to use once we figured out the soap dispenser (had to hold the button, not just press once). Machines new, clean and plentiful.
As expensive as this place is, there's no seats and there's a very small amount of dryers so you'll definitely be waiting your turn to dry your clothes. Card laundromats charge the most and always gives you the cheapest experience.
The woman currently working here is incredibly angry, rude, and hostile for no good reason. I arrived at 9:00 and she immediately tried to turn me away. Only after arguing with her and agreeing that I would not dry my clothes was I allowed entrance. Management should find a better employee who does not turn away customers.
The new woman at the front desk is very rude and disrespectful I been doing my laundry here for many years when the Ecuadorian couple were here, but since a month ago, this women took over and she is rude. Business owner should be carful of who they hire if they don't want to lose customers and their business. Now I have to go look for another laundromat.....Update, I found another laundry at the corner of 51st street and 10th Ave. It looks more spacious, and the management has better reviews on Google, so hopefully we will do business with them for a long time
You buy a card with $2 You load up the card that you use for washing and drying You then don't get any of refund back. If you are not a regular, find another laundromat!
I’m having great experience with this laundromat. It’s a small place and I don’t have the time to wash my clothes, so I just bring my outfits and they do the job for me, it depends of the weight, sometimes I spend $15 or $25, the staff here are very helpful and they follow my request when I ask to don’t put some of my items in the dryer machine. I will continue having their services.
I sadly live around the corner from this laundromat the owners are racist. I am a young African American there are Hispanics here holding machines for use the boss told me she doesn’t care.
Came here a couple times for wash and fold whilst on vacation to save taking dirty clothes home. Same day service. Easy peasy
I usually do drop off. The woman that works there is really nice every time I come in. The place is super busy so if you want to do self service, come early. The prices for drop off are fair (better than the cash-only place down the street, but still very Manhattan). No complaints.
They have since updated to a laundry card system instead of quarters. I found that out after I had procured $20 in quarters from the bank! Damn. Anyway… come with at least $20 in cash to load onto your card that you can purchase at a …
Nice place! Clean, efficient and well maintained. We were very pleased with the place!
Great American Scam - requested white items to be bleached. Paid for an extra load because the woman working there said it’s better if there are items that need to be bleached. …
"The Great American Rip-off" though the owner is actually Russian. If there is such a word as 'money rip-off,' it definitely applies to this place. …
Great laundromat. Clean and with new machines. All machines are pay by card that you do need to purchase inside. But easy process to do that. Machines all work great, dryers were excellent. Ability to purchase detergents but also need to use the pre paid card for that. Highly recommended
Working with Great American wash, at one time I have given my clothes to some dry cleaning agency and they split my clothes, but working with Great America wash I have had great experience the best Services so far, with top notch delivery …
