I purchased pants probably 4 years ago. They have been sitting in my closet. Why? They were too long and needed to be tailored. The place I used to go to is no longer in business. One day just by chance, I rode with a friend who needed to run an errand. She needed to go drop off stuff at a cleaners. I said to I wonder if they tailor pants. She told me they did. A little skeptical to take my pants to a unknown place, eventually I did. I had nine pair of dress pants that needed to be taken up a few inches so they wouldn't overhang over my shoe. I took a nine pairs of pants and was only charge $99. That's really cheap for tailoring. I upload the owners for doing a good job and keeping prices affordable for the community. That is an especially awesome feet in this economic climate.
They were good until they lost my husband's white dress shirt, ticket number U43807. They claimed he had already picked it up, so we went to the store to clarify that he hadn't. Their system needs improvement; all orders are handwritten on tickets, not entered into a computer, making it harder to track missing items. We won't be returning unless they find our shirt.
Rude, unprofessional, poor workmanship, damaged clothes, still want to get paid even if the workmanship is bad, unclean and damaged. You can expect them to YELL at you even when they admit they are in the wrong and insist on being paid or they claim they have no way of proving an item wasn't damaged when it was brought in...all while YELLING. If you are willing to accept this type of treatment for a job poorly done because it is cheap, then this is the place for you. Otherwise go somewhere else that had good customer service, values and respects there customers and provide quality service. I don't know how they are still in business.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Brought a dress here for alterations and when I went to pick it up they had managed to mess up the satin fabric. Went back 2 more times as they quoted they would “fix” it but each time a new imperfection appeared. I can’t be the only one with good eyes in Long Island so I can’t believe they had the nerve to hand it back to me in an imperfect condition 3 separate times. They wasted my time and messed up my dress. Highly would not recommend if you have standards.
As they say, you get what you pay for. First of all, they're cash only. Why can't they take credit cards in 2024? Secondly, they use old school paper tracing for your dry cleaning, rather than on a computer. Although pricing for tailoring and dry cleaning is amongst the cheapest you'll find anywhere, only bring in your least valuable clothing. Tailoring is cheap and quick, but dry cleaning does not deep clean the suits like my cleaners do. My dry cleaners is very modern, and extremely reliable, but due to their high prices, I was forced to look for cheaper options.
I don’t know how this place has four stars. The people there are very unfriendly not welcoming at all. I bought a few clothes in because they had stains on it that I couldn’t get out. They lied to me and said that the stains came out. So I trusted them that they did. When I got home the stains did not come out. So they basically lied to me and took my money. At least be honest with me. Terrible business I will not be coming back
Great staff, great service. Tailor is very professional courteous and accommodating. And everyone is very skilled, I give them my highest recommendation.
The WORST DRY CLEANERS you can ever take your clothes to. Definitely not worth my business or the price they charging: clothes (suits) not cleaned. Had to take them back to have them cleaned. Lint on the clothes. Pants pressed with double seams. Hemming clothes takes a week. As I was picking up the remainder of my clothes another customers clothing was not cleaned she was not happy.
Well I met with the owner after a recommendation from my friends mom one smart cookie ! It’s been a family name in our family for the past 40 years ! I love this place, they bend over backwards to help to accommodate to suggest the best dry cleaner ever! Gary is like the brother I never had , always full of chat And willing to help me with anything ! I have been traveling to this dry cleaner a far distance for a long time now because I know everything will be absolutely perfect ! Tailor Jose is my man ! He has always done a fabulous job ! Always a smile ! I miss George every time I enter those doors ! What a grand man he was ! There you have go no where else cuz it just won’t be as good ! Trust me !
Really it is a zero stars - inexpensive but you get what you pay for. If you misplace your ticket you are done! They have no way to trace anything. Also poor customer service! The worst cleaners!
