All the dryers needs to be replaced, when ever i do laundry, I spend more money and more time waiting for my clothes to dry,at times i will have to switch my clothes looking for dryers that are working perfectly. Please Management should look into this dryers issues
Dryers needs to replaced, spending extra money and wasting extra one hour or two before your clothes will get dried it's really a BS. DRYERS NEED URGENT REPLACEMENT. DRYERS NEED URGENT REPLACEMENT DRYERS NEED URGENT REPLACEMENT
The place is neat, and the washers are very good. Sadly, the same thing can't be said about the dryers, I put 5 quarters per dryer... when the time was finished, it was as if I never put them to dry. Totally wet. I went to the lady who works there to report the issue. She replied that the machines have been on since the morning and they also get tired. That everyone uses the bottom dryers, so the top ones don't warm up as they should. If they know there is a problem with the dryers, why don't they fix it... It is not fair that the client has to waste money having to change the clothes to another dryer and put more money because the dryers got tired. (As she said). She had an attitude, as if I was saying something wrong. Although, I must add she put 20 minutes for one of my dryers
The place is barely working but really what I wanna talk about the lady from tonight was mean and rude. She was very pushy and giving dirty looks. The atmosphere is really toxic with her around snapping her fingers at the customers like dogs
I have lived on Main St. in South River for 13 years, and I would rather walk to a different town on my hands rather than use this terrible laundromat again. For about 10 years, I would go there weekly, and be robbed by their machines. None of the machines appear to have been serviced or replaced in over a decade. The same faded signs adorn machines that have not worked properly for as long as I can remember. The washers are much better than the dryers, but that's still not saying much. The washers get stuck and force you to wash your clothes for multiple cycles, but don't fret, you will not be charged as your clothes are held hostage for an additional 42 mins. The dryers, on the other hand, they are a totally different story. The dryers make me want to punch people in the face, which I will refrain from, but it is completely frustrating to waste money on dryers that NEVER work. When I went there weekly, I had all of the faulty dryers memorized. I would patiently wait for the subpar dryers that required excess money and vigilance. Now, I just opt to spend $0.25 for 4 minutes using the larger dryers rather than the smaller dryers, offering savings with 3 additional minutes for the same quarter. However, the smaller machines open mid-cycle, show an Error, or they don't dry your clothes at all. The attendants blame the poor performance on the items you're drying, despite not having the same issues with the same items in other dryers, if that makes any sense. Either way, they make excuses for their machines sucking, and I'm over it. After finding an amazing laundromat on Whitehead, Superwash, my trips to this janky establishment are few and far in between... thankfully. Today, was the last straw, and i will no longer return. To no surprise, the change machine was down today. I politely asked the attendant, if the machine, which had no sign, was down. To which she replied, "yes." Nonchalantly returning to her conversation. Then, when I asked for change for a 20, she denied having any. I did not ask for a roll of quarters or specific denominations, she flat out denied me. It's one thing to have your underage child in the business translating for the attendant, but it's another thing to have kids use the business like a jungle gym. Maybe if more attention was paid to the overall satisfaction of the public, this place wouldn't have a 2.9. Honestly, I should have taken the time to complete a review previously because NO ONE should patronize this place. It is a dump that takes advantage of the people who frequent them. #EndRant
Place is nice and the prices aren’t all too bad. It is family run and their customer service isn’t all too bad either. Expect to know a little bit of Spanish before coming to make any service easier on yourself. There is a Dunkin next to it too in case you want to grab a snack.
This place good really be a great place. Very friendly employees. To the owner “You need new dryers”. Invest some money into repairing them because they dont work and you are losing business. You lost mine. Time and money is valuable. Nobody wants damp clothes.
The lady that works here had her kid tell me I put my stuff in the wash too late. (I didn’t see the sign) I made a mistake!! Goodness. Then he proceeded to tell me not to do that again. He had to be like 7 years old and he had no manners either. I told him if you’re worried about my stuff not being done it will be and I’ll be out of here before you close and I won’t be back so let her know that. The mother doesn’t speak English as per why he had to do it which is fine if the kid had manners. I just found it disrespectful considering I’m a paying customer. I made a mistake and you had your kid reprimand me lmao. Let’s be real. Your reviews aren’t good I think you should do better since you have to make a living off your customers.
I only recently needed to start using a laundromat, due to my new apartment not having a washer/dryer hookup. I usually come here because it's 3 minutes away from my job. But it's not great. It's 5.25 for a single load of wash, and 25$ for 4 minutes to dry. But the dryer hardly works, and you end up spending another 1-2$ just to get it dry enough to not be damp. The seats between the machines are usually broken, so if you're sitting to wait the whole time, be prepared for a seat like a train- constantly being jostled and rocked back and forth. And again, 5.25 just for a single wash. Pricey. If only it wasn't so convenient location-wise.
This laundromat has a fairly new interior with newer machines. Sadly that doesn't mean they work better. Many driers (at the time of my visit, February 2019) don't produce heat thus wasting your money. You also have to purchase a reloadable card to use the machines for $2. I came here because my normal laundromat was closed due to a water main break. My usual laundromat is much more reliable (Coin operated machines) and it's just around the corner.
