feel bad for anyone stuck using this dump. they know they’re the only laundromat in town and milk it for all it’s worth—rude, nasty, and acting like basic courtesy is beneath them. they treat customers however they feel like, with zero respect, and clearly don’t care because people have no other choice. it’s honestly a joke that this place even passes city inspections.
Regular size and large load machines..some are coin operated, some take credit cards or both. Full time attendent on the premise. Coin machine to exchange paper bills. Well maintained
The lady at the front is so rude. I got my dates wrong for when I needed the item back and she refused to speak to me any further. Would not answer any of my questions. She also tried to charge me almost triple what the cleaners in Marmora charge. Never again!
I have used them for years and always thought they were ridiculously expensive. This last time I dropped off slacks and two shirts and they were going to charge me $28. I asked the lady "Are you sure that's right? That's over $9 an item.". She ignored me so I asked again and she snapped at me "you can have clean or no clean - no complain!". So I took my clothes and left and brought them to another cleaners up the road where they charged me $12 for the same slacks and shirts.
The woman who runs the store is super nasty and literally huffed when I asked her if I could pick up my suit at lunch instead of the end of the day. She is also super expensive ($60 to dry clean a suit jacket). She clearly wanted nothing to do with me, and yelled at me when I told her tan was the only word I can use to describe my suits color on the phone. Not worth it.
The worst, rudest, 2 visits I’ve ever had to a local business. On both occasions I was first to say hello and received absolutely no response, no eye contact…just held out her hand for $/ticket. When I dropped off my 3 tops, I sweater & 3 pillow covers, I paid $71, which seemed high at the time. At pick up I looked for a pricing list for other items I need cleaned…nothing posted in-store. I kindly asked if there was a pricing list and she became very aggravated, threw her hands up and said, “No!” Wow…👎👎👎
This is in response to Patrick Boland. The sink or the washers are not there to wash greasy rags.. If you have rags that contain grease, chemicals, or oils you CANNOT wash them at this laundromat. You don’t have to come back.
Unfortunately i had to edit my review from 5 to 3 stars due to an extremely aggressive man working there. He had an attitude with me immediately when he approached me to tell me i cant pre-rinse my rags in the sink (i thought thats what the sinks there for). He then began to berate and harass me about it, then threatened to kick me out when i told him to leave me alone. I will not be coming back because im not willing to deal with him again. Past review: Recently everything is clean and working properly. Their is also a very helpful woman working there, always ready to help how she can.
I called to get price to do 1 load myself ignorant lady said call laundry mate not here and hung up
I’d give zero stars if I could. Customers beware! I had my clothes in the dryer with 36ish minutes left on them when I was told “doors get locked at 11, you can either take your clothes or come back in the morning”. No where on the door or in the business does it say last wash at X time. When I ask for a refund for the time left on the dryer, the employee rudely refused. How you gonna take someone’s money for a service, then not provide the service? Make that make sense to me. This review isn’t about the money though, maybe they needed it more than I do. It’s about how you treat people. “Come back in the morning for your clothes”, hey lady, I’m at the laundry mat at this hour because I work 12 hr shifts, then commute, then take care of kids. You think I can trust you to hold onto my clothes until 930-10pm the next day. Ha. If the owner is reading this, please don’t reach out. There is nothing you can say that will change my opinion about the business you run.
