Express Laundry

I’m going to preface this review by saying I’m not a local, I’m visiting from out of town. This laundromat might work well for someone who uses it frequently. You have to buy a “laundry card” for $7 and then add money to the laundry card in order to use the machines. With a credit card, you can load money onto the card in increments of $10’s ($10, $20, $30, $40). A wash is $4.25 and the dryer is $1 per 10 mins. Since I’m only coming here once, I just spent $17 on one load of laundry. I had to buy the $7 card and load a minimum of $10 onto the card. The dryer did one load in 20 mins so the actual laundry service I paid for was $6.25, and I just gave $10.75 to this business for free. $6.25 is a good price but you have to come here regularly to make buying the laundry card worth it and also loading the card. The actual laundromat is nice and the guy behind the counter was helpful with the laundry machine, however he didn’t seem to care when I explained that I’m only coming here one time and I was a little annoyed with having to buy they card and load the money for literally one use. Another pro is that there is a cafe in the front of the shop. There are jumbo dryers for a little more money and you can buy soap here if needed.

I recently came here to do laundry while on vacation. I can’t say enough good things about this laundromat and the family who runs it. Martin was so accommodating of me and my daughter. He made us a delicious boba drink while we waited. It was truly a lovely experience. The price is more than reasonable. The place is clean and cool and waiting is no issue at all. I go to Bernardsville every year and will definitely be back!!

I come over and do my laundry every week, I enjoy coming because it is very clean and service if great! Anything I need she helps me out!

Local place where the owner is very kind and will help you in any way she can. This place is kept VERY clean and the machines look brand new. There is a coffee shop in the front so you can relax with a nice cup of coffee while you waite. Prices are very reasonable. I have done self service and used the wash and fold service and was happy both times. I will be using this as my go to laundromat.

Newer machines ov various capacity, owner always there. Measured my temp when coming in. Have been going here for over a year. Very clean and efficient. Bit more expensive than regular coin laundromats (no coins here) but worth it for me. Free wifi if you choose to wait. Overall wash/dry process takes about an hour. You can purchase coffee/tea and pastries as well. Seating is limited, I mostly walk in town for the 30 minutes.

Best laundromat experience ever! I came with 8 big bags of laundry and was given such a warm welcome—shown around and helped at every step. It's a clean, friendly environment with fast, clean machines. They have cafe seating and sell bubble tea, so you can relax while you wait. Highly recommend!

My first time here and would recommend highly! The owner was extremely kind and courteous. She took me around and showed me everything I needed.

I had the best experience at Express Laundry! I needed a comforter washed (that is too big for our washer/dryer). This place came highly recommended and I can see why! First off the owner, Young, is extremely sweet and very helpful! Secondly, the place is immaculate (very clean) It looks brand new! Lastly, there is an adorable little coffee shop in front of the laundromat with a fireplace. I had a wash & fold service done & couldn't be more pleased! My son's comforter was so soft & smelled so good! This is definitely my go to place! Thank you, Express Laundry!!

I stopped by to wash a few comforters. The owner was beyond helpful, explaining the payment card, which machines and times to use based on the sizes of my blankets, and the place was spotless. In the front of the laundromat is a coffee/tea shop where I had my first ever Bubble Tea...delicious! This is a wonderful and unique business in downtown Bernardsville owned by a husband and wife. It's a gem and I'll be back for sure.

Laundromat is very clean and the bubble tea is excellent but the real draw here is the owner. She is genuinely kind and will help you with whatever you need. I drive past other laundromats to go here. The cleanliness and friendliness are worth the drive. Grabbing a bubble tea while your clothes dry make it not even feel like a chore. (also grab a plant propagated in a detergent cap while your here because that's literally the cutest thing ever and you deserve it.)
