Brought in 3 pairs of pants: one pair of trousers needed a stitching for a hole, another pair of jeans needed a 2 inch hem and last pair of linen pants needed pockets removed. Was all done flawlessly!!! Love coming here and everyone is so professional and great to work with.

Paid $36 for dry cleaning a short lightweight winter jacket and the sleeves are still dirty. I brought back to ask for further touch up and the guy said there’s nothing he can do and doesn’t want to damage it…

We've been going here for a few years and have always been happy with the service. They've always done a great job for a reasonable price (both with dry cleaning and some simple tailoring needs). Most recently I was so impressed I knew I had to leave a review! My husband dropped off our winter coats (they were 2 years overdue for a dry clean) and they came back looking BRAND NEW!! I truly thought we were going have to invest in new coats but they were able to patch up a few repairs needed in the lining and I could not believe how perfect the coats looked when they came back. We also recently moved and needed a bunch of curtains hemmed- they did a wonderful job. We were very grateful to spend to have the coats and curtains repaired and cleaned instead of investing in new items!

Great service, I had a heavy winter coat dry cleaned and a massive rip near the zipper repaired for $50. For me, the three day turnaround was very fast.

Super quick turn around when I was really in need of it. They promised it within ~30hrs and they were ready for hand off in less than 24hrs. Granted, it was a dry clean only, BUT I’m incredibly grateful nonetheless.

I am relatively new to this neighborhood and was currently continuing to use my old dry cleaners for cleaning, alterations, and repairs. However, I decided to consider making the switch to Star Cleaners after being provided decent reviews from an acquaintance close by. It is much closer to my commute with the Path and far more convenient. However, my first experience was quite poor and I will not be returning again. Not only was the service unfriendly and discourteous, they claimed they were unable to make even an extremely basic repair. I am not certain if he was the owner; he did not appear like a new employee but he confidently attempted to persuade me that a button pulling off a pair of summer shorts could definitely not be fixed. The explanation given was that the base of where the button could be restitched was damaged and a new button would not hold. This is not my area of expertise so I was puzzled and asked why they could not simply place a patch, hidden behind the base of where the button would go and then restitch to that. He repeated it could not be done or even attempted. I was disappointed but initially took his explanation at face value, since I have not really done this sort of thing myself. Thankfully, just to make sure I asked my old cleaners if the same repair was possible so I did not have to throw the pair away. To my surprise, they said they have done repairs like this a thousand times and there was absolutely no problem with putting a patch behind the base. I have now gotten my pair back with the repair done, everything fixed and button feeling extremely secure in place.

Brought them two shirts to press before my wedding. Came to pick them up before our welcome dinner and they had lost one of them. The person said “I’m sorry we’ve had a lot of shirts here today.” Thank god I bought a backup shirt and they didn’t lose that one too. Could have been a disaster.

I’ve always received 5 star service here, but this past weekend was over and above. I brought in my bridal shower dress for a zipper replacement that needed to be done by the next day to have it in time for my party. They assured me they would make it happen, and they delivered. They took the dress into there hands, made sure to get it done in less than 24 hours, and made such an important day even sweeter.
