Though it's clean, it's expensive! $8 for a large load, and it takes only quarters!!! I tried to wash 2 pillows in the largest machine yet it "overloaded" so the machines aren't that great. There's no place to sit at a table, there's very little cell service, no Wi-Fi, and if you go to sit near the one heater because it's freezing, there's no cell service at all. I won't be back.
I go here every time I need my laundry done. Not out of love, but out of desperation. I have no washers or dryers in my home, and with limited laundromats in Claremont, its slim pickings. The place has had a few renovations over the years and swapped owners, but it's still rather expense for a quarter laundromat. Pretty quiet and cleanly every time I go there as well.
Since their is not a laundry attendant anymore the washers have mold in them. The customer's who use it are not picking up after themselves. Not much seating in the establishment. And, no television like their used to be Not many want their phone when the elderly like television. I have been going there for years , but what a change since their is no attendant in the laundromat. The price is getting to be too much also. Almost $6.00 for the washer. 25 cents per 4 minutes for the dryer.
This place was on the way back home from a day in Claremont. And was easy access off the main road. You can grab a bite right next store at McDonald's. Even though everything inside looks a little dated. The lage washer machines worked wonderfull. They had several quater machines in side. They have soap and dry sheets you can buy. There is a bathroom. They also sell soda and snakes on site. They have a couple vending machines, so you can grab a bite why you wash your laundry. But the greatest thing I found was that there was a child play area inside. It has many toys ,books and so many things to keep your children or child busy. It has a little gate so your toddler has a safe place to play with out escaping. You can easily see your child I this play are from anywhere inside this place. They have TV for the adults. The best thing was that I could easily hit all my laundry in one of the large washers and it had room. And only took less then 30 minutes to fully wash. It was very slow when I was there on a Sunday afternoon. And many of the machines were avaliable. Some were out of service for what ever reason. So all I can say is this is a safe easybplace to wash your laundry with out breaking the bank.
Nice laundromat with working machines, but could be cleaner. Machines had gunk and residue around the door openings--- they need a good scrubbing! Facility does not have a large tumble dryer to accommodate king size comforter. Had to take comforter to another laundromat to dry.
Nice place, well laid out. Kept very clean. A lot of double loaders. Only 2 triple loaders though. A whole wall of dryers. Prices are moderate and there is no attendant there if the vending machines or washers need help.
Machine are out of order on 3 out of 8 machines. Lady put clothes in machine after a few minutes it said err 7 and no way to get her clothes out and no numbers to call in case this happens. Place use to be nice and clean now it seems new owners don’t care and even cut off parking places close to door, for what reason I do not know. Went up on prices for washing and drying but down on service. Shame see people come and go due to lack of machines and they go elsewhere.
I like it because I have done my laundry there for years. The washers are great. Floors and paint look better for sure. What I don't like is the place is so hot in the summer, it's ridiculous. There is not even a vending machine to get a bottled water. Makes me think owner does not care about his customers at all. Very unfriendly vibe. Atleast make your customers comfortable while they are pumping money into your machines..
Prices keep going up without being backed by quality. It costs $5 more than two years ago to wash and dry 2 large loads. Washing machines have green mold growing on the edges of the glass. There is no attendant 4 days a week and no number to call when the machine eats your money or breaks.
I do laundry here often. Usually it's decently clean and machines are always working and plenty of machines. Lately I feel it has been getting dirty and there is NEVER an attendant on duty in the event something went wrong or anyone ever cleaning, etc. Has its ups and downs but decent.
