Rainbow Laundry

I used to frequent this laundromat many years ago and always had a good experience, but my how things have changed. Recently my washer was down for repair and I needed to use this facility. I wasn't worried at all because of past experience. Boy, was I ever disappointed in my visit. It was dirty, the machines were nasty and I ended up cleaning the soap dispenser before I started. It is really in sad shape. All of us at one time may be in difficult times and need this service but how in the world do you even afford it anymore. 5.75 to wash clothes in an already dirty washer. What happened here? Does the owner no longer care? Can't we make a hard situation better for everyone by having a decent place to get things done? Do better owners! It does not take much to sweep a floor, empty trash, and keep things in decent order.

Filthy! Tables are sticky there’s trash and dirt everywhere. The old lady who’s supposed to be working is only sitting down and talking. I tried to clean a table bc it was sticky and she got an attitude about it. The bathroom didn’t have any TP. I went to ask for some and told her there isn’t Any in the bathroom and she said “i know.” My daughter is autistic and she was even mocking my daughter when she was talking. I am thinking of suing for a hate crime. Also there’s a huge exposed part of the wall where you can see conduit and electrical components. Code inspector would shut them down if they saw that

Lots of machines, clean. Only thing, they have no laundry carts to get laundry from point A to B. I was told it is because people steal them

Please control the homeless population, it tends to get crazy down there latenight. They don’t bother people but it is disgusting and disturbing. Also for a community laundry mat, trash control should not be a issue but obviously it is! Most machines are down, but they do work like a charm.. that’s why they get a 3 star!

The laundry needs to fix several dryers and buy more basket for customers . This place serves alot of people in the community so there needs to dryers and washing machine available to use . Without pink tabs on the equipment saying out of service .

This coin laundry is filthy and depending on where you're at in the laundromat it smells. One of the dryers only ran for 2 minutes. My washed clothes had foreign hair on them afterwards. I'll just have to risk my washing machine at home getting off balance, because this was so unsanitary in too many ways. To think it says drop off service 🤔 . 😬🤢😷

I really like Rainbow laundry! They stay open late and it is well lit. They also have a little moving, ride for little children that only cost a quarter. 👌 I feel bad though because somehow I overflowed one of the machines. Sorry guys 😣 …

I use to wash here bout 8-9 yrs ago till I got a portable washer in my apartment. My clothes had over piled one day and I decided to go by one day,and just for the small front loaders was 3 dollars. And they upgraded the left side dryers, they don't get as hot and u get only 5min with each quarter. I miss the ol skool dryers they on that side. They got hot. After I seen that and price of the washer I picked up my basket of clothes and left.

I like coming here late at night since it's open 24/7. $2 cold wash. Not sure if they have anyone working there cause it's stays pretty dirty there. Dryer work well

My family & I have came here for several years. They used to have TV's which don't work anymore. This laundry mat is run down. Several washing machines don't work. It smells like mildew & toliet water in there most times. There are roaches. Spots in the ceiling. The floors are usually dirty. Like you can literally see dirt, dryer sheets & whatever else other customers have left behind. I don't know why there isn't a laundry attendant here at all times. Sometimes you'll see the man who owns or co-owns the place come in & collect coins while avoiding contact with the customers. I think this place needs to be shut down & renovated. They owe it to the community who comes here to spend their hard earned money to wash their clothes. Who wants to wash their clothes in a filthy environment ... *UPDATE: Per my last review (5 years ago) this place has gotten worse & worse. The parking lot is trashed. There is only one cart at night. You can visibly see mold & detergent build up inside the washers. The foul smell is still strongly present. Homeless people are sleeping inside where people wash ! Rude attendants. Filthy, water damaged, dog hair & trashy covered floors ! Some of these reviews are LIES/ OLD PHOTOS ! THIS PLACE IS NASTY & YOU KNOW IT ! Dear owners, if you can not upkeep this building I urge you to sell ! Robbing the community of their hard earned dollars with no improvements because they're desperate for a place to wash/fold is sickening. Do better !
