It's a mix of new and old washers and dryers with several having out of order signs. There are several differently priced washing machines: $2.25-8.75. The cheaper washers display 36 minutes to complete the entire cycle, but the large front load washer for $8.75 states that it will finish in 19 minutes. I've been to better laundromats but overall this one's not too bad and I will use it again
New Owners! They are fixing all the washers and dryers. This is much improved from the past few years. It isn't open 24 hours anymore closing at 9pm. But they said that might be extended later after the repairs are completed. The only downside I can say is the bathroom will not be open for a while due to all the vandalism, it's going to take longer to fix. But Casey's is just across the street for refreshment and relief. The new owner is pleasant and helpful.
More than half the machines are broken, and have been for almost two years. They have notes that they're gonna fix them but if they haven't in two years, I doubt it. Some of the broken machines are not labeled as out of order. So you spend your money on the machine and then find out it doesn't work. Contacting the owners does no good because they don't answer. They have a note up with their phone number as if they are there to call for any problems, but it's another lie because like I said, they don't answer. The owners of this place have plenty of money as I personally listened to the wife talk about how her husband was on a fishing trip to Alaska. That's rich people stuff. They're making plenty of money, but yet won't fix their machines to run their business correctly. They make plenty of money off people putting money into machines that don't work, and then not refunding those people, too. Maybe they'd have fewer angry customers, and fewer incidences of vandalism, if they'd actually run their business with integrity... ie: fix the broken machines, and answer people when they contact them about problems like needing refunds.
I dont regularly use a laundromat, but have comforters that needed washed and dried. I thought it would be quicker to come to town and use our local laundromat. It is very clean but most machines were not hooked up or out of order. If it had been busy, I would have made a trip to Springfield. For our community I hope the needed repairs are made quickly.
Travelling, and stopped to run a quick load. Compared to other places we've used this is a great facility. It's clean, the coin machine worked flawlessly, the washers smell good, and the soap dispenser is stocked. I don't understand why this place is getting some of the negative reviews, unless people are trying to overload the machines. We had no issues.
This business has closed its bathroom. That is why I gave this business one star. Otherwise, the laundry room is clean, and some of the dryers do not get very hot; therefore, you will wind up using a lot of quarters.
A bunch of machines are out of order. One of the dryers literally ate my money and didn’t work. The bathroom is out of order. I have to wipe out the machines before I use them because they are literally so DISGUSTING inside. I’m sorry but if I’m paying $4 dollars for a washer I at least expect it to be somewhat clean inside.
This place is a literal gamble. They don't repair their machines. The majority are broken. Some of the broken ones are marked out of order, but some are not. Take your chances on putting money into a machine just to find out it's not working. ***Sometimes*** you put your clothes and soap in, and your clothes get washed. ***Sometimes*** you put them in the dryer, and they get dry. OR. I've seen a lady "wash" her clothes just to find out when the machine 'finished' that there HADN'T been any water ran through. It just coated her stuff in soap and tumbled it, without any water. I've had my clothes go halfway through a wash cycle before I realized it wasn't agitating. All my stuff was just sitting still in soapy water. Not actually washing. Some of the dryers that do work will tear holes in your clothes because there's pointed metal pieces in the drum poking out. Or there's gum or pen that will stain your clothes in there, from a previous patron. Sometimes you'll run through stuff through a dryer for 40 minutes just to end up taking home wet clothes that didn't get dry. Good luck guessing which machines to use. May the odds be ever in your favor. If there was literally any other place in this town to do laundry, I'd go there. But there's not. Unfortunately.
I took my my kids bedding to get washed and dried quickly as my washer can't handle the size of comforters. I started 3 different front load washers. When I went to switch them over, one of the washers was locked. It has my daughter's Christmas present in it which is a brand new bed set. I called the number 4 times with no call back.
Dose anyone know how to contact the owners ? Machines 16,13,18 didn’t even wash my loads 33 takes your money it’s 4 to wash I ended up paying about 7. This is the sitting area. Whole floor is flooded .
