Nice and clean laundromat. Has a good change machine and vending machine with both snacks and spare detergent (1.00). Has some seating with stools and chairs, working outlets Washers are a little pricey 2.25-4.00 depending on what washer you use for a 45min cycle 0.25 per minutes on the dryer
Had a great experience in this laundromat! Place was clean, quiet and relatively affordable compared to other places in town. We came in around 2pm on a Saturday and we pretty much were the only ones here. The very few that also came in were friendly. Will be coming back!
Visited 2/14/21 7am-9am It was okay. Small an quaint. The washers are a little tricky. If you ever see (E DL) open the door an close it again to make sure its closed. Had to call the owner to understand what was happening with it. I used the front load 2.50$ washers. Some of them are out of order, so please be aware before you out detergent, scent booster beads, etc inside them. My set was 23 mins for 2 washers, and the ones closest to the door was 28 mins. The dryers are not free. It is 25 cents for 7 mins, 1$.25 cents will get you 35 mins. Dry on high heat if you only to the 30 mins because my loads had dampness within them. Jeans, sweaters, socks, underwear. Also make sure the dryer dose not snag your clothes while drying. This happened to me.
There are bugs in this building. When I brought this to the owners attention, he was defensive and claimed that he could not guarantee that bugs would not get into my clothing. He has refused to care about the situation and fix the problem. I’m concerned for public health and I’m tired of the owner’s terrible attitude in regards to fixing a BUG problem. I’m not going to keep dealing with this disgusting problem so it needs to be resolved and it needs to be resolved ASAP.
Some washers smell of mildew. All washers/dryers are coin only. No atm. No comfortable seats.
Great services. I brought in a comforter to get washed, stuffed it into one of the big machines, paid $5 to start only to realize I forgot to put in pillowcases. I hit stop without thinking (the cycle just started), added the pillowcases however by hitting stop I cancelled my previous payment. I called the number posted on the wall, got a response immediately (at 7pm on a Sunday nonetheless) and got my money refunded. I will definitely be back (also I have never seen this place busy/crowded, so I never had to wait for a machine which is always a plus)
One of the cleanest and nicest locations i’ve been to. The machines are not too expensive and they have their own change machines that work! The small neighborhood feel and quaint view makes it a pleasant experience!
Very clean little laundromat tucked away in the suburb. Has a little arcade game machine (not sure if I just didn't put in enough money? But I couldn't play it. Might be broken. Oh well.) Neat painting on the wall. Clean washing machines. Affordable. Gets a little stuffy inside with door closed. Vending machine with nice cold drinks, sodas and water : ) 3 soft seats for sitting inside and a bench out front. Clean counters at perfect height for folding.
I live in the neighborhood, but won't return here again. One of the dryers malfunctioned and turned off after 5 minutes of drying after I put $2.00 into it. I called the number listed on the door of the laundromat and spoke to the contact. He didn't offer to give my money back and alluded that it was my fault for the dryer malfunctioning.
Bellevue Laundromat is OK, but there's a lot in it that needs to be fixed up. Let's start with the good. If you're looking to get your laundry done with washing machines that are more what you are used to rather than just big Dexter machines, then this is the place. While you will find a few Dexter machines, you'll find a lot more front loading and top loading washing machines. There are several high efficiency Speed Queen washers which I recommend even though your options are limited as to what settings you can set them on. Still, for $2.50 a load (well more like $2.75 in my case), they do a fairly good job of washing clothes. Be sure to bring the proper detergent for an high efficiency device. It should be the kind with the "(he)" logo. Drying is 25 cents for 7 minutes, but I recommend sticking in 35 minutes worth ($1.25) of quarters, and if you want to save money stick ALL your laundry in the same drying load. (It's OK, you won't need to worry about color bleed like you would in a washer where you would need to separate whites, lights, and darks from each other or at very least lights and darks.) Now for the bad part. There's clearly been some fire damage to some of the machines, namely the dryers. Good news is that the machines that were damaged were older Continental dryers. More than likely, someone didn't empty their pockets, probably had a lighter or vape pen and blew up one of the dryers. Those have been taped off but as of this review (March 2022) the owners of the laundromat have yet to remove those machines so it might smell a little "smokey". Cleanliness is also something that needs fixing. There appears to be some sort of ash or metallic dust on the floor which is the last thing I want my clothes touching before or after drying. Strangely enough, there appeared to be a small cockroach wandering around a couple of the washers. But it's just one, and he seems to keep to himself. If there were a bunch like him, then that would be a problem. Heck, I've decided to give him a name and call him Peri (the American cockroach is scientifically know as Periplaneta americana). Perhaps he can become somewhat of a mascot for the establishment. He mostly crawls on the floor. I just don't have the heart to squish him. 😄 Not sure why but a lot of folks sit in their cars or go elsewhere while the machines are running. I would advise people to not do this. At very least, go pick up something from the "Brodega" a couple stores over or bring a book or smart phone with them. Seriously, just because there are some cameras there, it doesn't mean you can just leave your stuff there unattended. The bottom line, I've managed to spend no more than about $10 to $11 here depending on how many loads I need to get done. Basically, anywhere between $6.75 to $10.75, depending on how much laundry I need to do. (It's $3 for a heavily soiled wash, but I generally don't have clothes that need to be that thoroughly washed.) $2.75 x 2 + ($0.25 x 7) x 1 = $5.50 + $1.25 = $6.75 $2.75 x 3 + ($0.25 x 7) x 2 = $8.25 + $2.50 = $10.75 Definitely a good place to do laundry. Needs a few repairs, and maybe a sink to wash delicates or at lease wash off any liquid detergent you get on your fingers by accident, and probably a coffee house near by to at least encourage people to stay nearby and not leave their stuff unattended. Other than that, I like it.
