The only reason it's not 1 star is because it was empty so I had no wait. There is a MASSIVE wasp nest just dangling from the ceiling above the out of order dryers. Unacceptable. The machines are very old; and very poorly cared for. They only have 2 updated machines. One of them is out of order. 60% of the washing machines overall are out of order. 70% of the dryers, as well. The cheapest washing machine they have is $5.75/load. This is absolutely crazy. Talk about price gouging. This absolutely eclipses even California prices. The most I've ever paid is $4.50 and that was a lot. For the prices they charge here, there should be complimentary beverages and provide A/C. It's extremely hot in there. Explains why the single attendant is so grouchy. I now understand why the place was empty and why every local I've spoken to recommended I avoid it at all costs.l; I assumed they meant the traffic. I need to also.mention that, for these absurdly expensive machines and how out of date they are, each wash cycle is longer than 45 minutes. This is unacceptable. A wash should not be more than 30-35 minutes with the dry cycle being the longer portion. I have no made it to dry cycle yet, I am sitting, sweating....waiting. I feel as though I'm being punished by being here. The floors are also very grimy. I strongly advise against it. Update: while I sit here attempting to empty my machines to switch to the dryer, the owner is pushing past me to try and get the quarters out of the very machines I'm in front of and working in. His greed oozes past his weak attempts at customer service or friendliness.

My husband and I have been traveling up and down the East Coast over the past year and regularly use drop-off laundry services. This location was the most expensive we’ve encountered ($2.50/lb), and unfortunately, the service didn’t match the price. Our clothes were returned wrinkled and folded haphazardly—some looked like they were simply balled up (see photos). We expected more care and consistency based on what we’ve experienced elsewhere. Sharing this to help future customers and encourage improvement.

I think it's the only laundry in town. Many machines are broken, and with multiple people, washing machines were at a premium. A regular load is $4.50. A larger laod is $ $5.25. Drying is 25 cents for five minutes. It's expensive. The attendant was nice and helpful. The machines were clean. There is not much seating, and the seating they had was filthy. Did not want to sit down. Would go across bridge to other laundromat next time.

I’m sorry to report that this place changes ownership about every 2 years. Some are conscientious and the place is top notch. However,in the year of our Lord 2025 this place is a MUST AVOID! Very few machines are actually in operation and the ones that are working smell to high heaven. ( Run a cycle with an empty drum and plenty of bleach, for gosh sakes Owners.). The owner /attendants give no thought to customer service, hours are erratic, doors are locked or unlocked on a whim…..plus you’ll be yelled at or treated as if your questions were a major inconvenience. Gee…NO thanks. A quick Google search reveals better laundry options in St Ignace and Cheboygan.

Ok experience getting laundry done, $4.50-$5.25 a load. Many machines not working.

The laundromat has gone downhill over the years. We come here every year while camping and there are more washers that are broken each time we visit. This year, 75% of the washers were broken.

The washers are very pricey and many machines were out of order. Our quarters kept jamming and when we asked for help the manager acted like we were a nuisance. Then they just bang on the side of the money box to un-jam it. The dryers take forever even on the high setting. It is not very clean and it's very cluttered. I'll never come here again. I'll go to Cheboygan or St. Ignace next time.

The good news- they have lots of washers and dryers. The bad news- probably 80% of them are out of order so hopefully you show up at a time thats not busy. Never paid so much just to wash some laundry. Definitely a price gouging business since there's not many laundromats in the area.

Place was clean and well kept. Like any other laundry mat there were machines out of service, but we were in and out within 2 hours and the place was busy. Definitely enough machines for us all.

This is the 2nd year we used this laundromat. It has gone downhill in the last year. Currently, most of the dryers are out of order. Thankfully we were here on a slow day otherwise there would be a huge wait. Friendly attendant on staff today. I see a FOR SALE sign in the window. Hoping someone purchase it and invest the time and money into it. With it being the only laundromat in the city it's a gold mine if done right. Otherwise people will do to St. Ignace or even Cheboygan.

Easy enough to use the facilities, but our clothes came out smelling super funky. Might have been a broken machine? We ended up redoing the whole load AND everything else in the suitcases.

Nice small, clean laundry mat. The larger washers where not available for public use. The regular sized washers were $4.00 a load and dryers are $.25 for five minutes.

Worker was very helpful and attentive. She showed me the best machine to use for my size load and helped me with soap. Summer hours are over and they now have Fall hours posted. Closed Labor day.

Let’s start with the opening and closing times 9-6. Then the price of the machine is $4.75 a load. I want this to be known up front I have no problem with the whole LGBTQ movement but when did the gay pride flag become a country. They have …

On the corner. Nice clean. Attendant on duty. Change machine. Majority of machines working. Nice area to wander while waiting.

Half the machines are out of order, and what does work is overpriced. Avoid this place if at all possible.

As close as you can get to Wilderness State Park. Open 9am to 6pm. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and well-lit. Washers and dryers work well.

Very friendly staff. $4 for a wash and $.25 for five minutes of dry time. Wish they were open later into the evening. Last wash begins at 5pm.
