Tropicana Laundromat

Look, when you’re going to a laundromat the only thing you care about is the location. If you don’t have a car and this is the option closest to your house, you’re stuck with it. Fortunately, this place doesn’t cost too much. That said, it’s honestly very frustrating how the dryers barely work - there’s no way to extend the cycle and cranking up the heat isn’t a great idea if you want to avoid the risk of shrinking clothes. Even on max heat most of my laundry was still damp and I had to hang them up to dry back home. I also really can’t overlook how annoying it is that they require you to buy a proprietary charge card. We should be able to use a credit card directly with the machine. At the VERY LEAST we should be able to pay for the stupid awful unnecessary charge cards with American Express or Apple Pay. Again, this place is affordable. It’s also safe, clean, and quiet. And none of this matters if it happens to be closer to your house than any alternative.

The laundromat was clean and quiet. You have to get a card from the machine which you then load with money. Washing machines start at $3.75 per load. Plenty of the big metal rolling baskets around. Maybe I'm just unobservant, but I couldn't figure out how to add more time to the dryers. I know it's possible because I saw other people who were able to, but I just kept drying with the default amount of time. That was annoying because I had to keep checking to make sure all my loads were still drying every few minutes. Make sure you check the dryers though -- a few of them have holes in the drums that would catch on your clothes and rip them. But this place was nice enough; I'd definitely come back.

Big, clean, plenty of machines, TVs. Perfect when not busy. There is a ramp for wheelchairs. There is only one parking space marked for handicap. However the space behind that one is also wheelchair accessible, just not handicapped-marked.

I just left there. I’m infuriated. I was waiting for my clothes to come out of the dryer. Had been sitting at a table for 20 minutes. A guy came over put all his laundry on the table I was at. Keep in mind, the place was not busy at all. I asked the person if he didn’t mind moving because I needed all the space in the table. He told me didn’t care. He also berated me in front of all the guest and staff. The staffer told me I should move. The guy told me I wasn’t a woman and that people like me didn’t matter. The staffer said nothing. Black women, do not spend your money here. You are not safe here. I was harassed publicly and neither guest or staff intervened. Go elsewhere.

Clean, and cool inside. When I was here I watched the management very patiently help a very confused lady find her clothes, while a group of customers tried to help. There are cameras all around which is also nice.

I always go there for laundary, they have a lot of washing machines and dry machines. The place is clean always but the bathroom sometimes is not accessable and sometimes it is dirty. Another weak part is only one employee working there and they have a lot of cuatomers there so if you need help need to wait little more time.

Horrible and dismissive customer service. It only takes a few seconds to answer a question. Washers have green stain and doesn’t look like much attention is given to them. Driers are good so far. Some of the machines are out of order. >$8 for washer is expensive. Don’t know if they will last with this kind of business model. It’s my first and last time here. I recommend other ones or buying a simple washer and drier from amazon. You won’t regret it after seeing this place.

I had one of the worst experiences there today. I left some clothes and went to retrieve them and the attendant that has been there for years and wears the ball cap was working. He was rude and very dismissive, he was reluctant to look for my clothes and would not let me do it. He finally looked and brought out to me some Men’s clothing. He would not let me look for my clothes myself, barely understood English and was very nasty. I think they keep your clothes and wear them, there is a big trash dumpster out front if you are not going to give them back to the owner, why not throw them in the trash dumpster. Once a machine breaks, they are slow about fixing it and the washers always have blue detergent still in them and the fabric softener dispenser at times is clogged with solution. The floor is always dirty and looks like it needs cleaning. I am going to report them for the way they treat their customers and steal your clothes

You have to buy a card ($1) then add money to even begin using the washer/dryer. And $1 is good for 14min of dry time. What a scam And there is no AC in this place
